'The Official Random Advice Thread'

Original post by ruzi777

Hi Newlyweds, I thought it would be FUN to start a Thread about Random Advice.

It can range anyway from Words of Wisdom, Favorite Sayings, Things your Grandmother used to say....etc.

You can Learn Something from Everybody

My Favorite Saying is

'What Goes Around, Comes Back Around Again'

I am a Strong Believer in that.

Re: 'The Official Random Advice Thread'

Everything revolves around hope.

It is neither sentimental nor old fashioned to hope for good things to happen.

Hope might be the thing which gets you through a bad day or to a brighter future.

It doesn't always feel like hopes are rewarded, but holding hope will always get you closer to what you really want.

'Don't give up' is usually the phrase which best applies to hope.

Rejection is the only way to find aproval.

Find reason to laugh at least three times a day.

Worrying doesn't empty tomorrow of its troubles,
it empties today of its strength.

It's better to regret what you have done than what you haven't done.

The key for keeping a good relationship alive is communication. One should constantly return feedback to the other.

These are the words of wisdom from my Grandma Eager. These were her 3 driving rules we heard about when we were just learning to drive. They still crack me up

'Don't brush your teeth while you drive'

'NEVER EVER make a left hand turn...It's to hard and you're likely to crash!'

'Never put make-up on in the car. If you're in the car you have already left and you should NEVER leave the house without makeup'

This is the advice my Grandma Klosowski gave me on my wedding day. Her and my grandpa have been married 65yrs.

'Make sure your feet touch at night. No matter what happens as long as your feet touch it'll be ok.'

I use this all the time:

Always think of the long term effects of your short term decisions (I say this to my clients every day!!!)
