Vacation Ideas!

I think for hubby's birthday, I want to surprise him with a 3-4 day trip. Currently thinking of LA but would love any other ideas. GO!

Are you wine drinkers? What about Napa? That's my DREAM trip!

New Orleans is also fun, Vegas, Miami, Ocean City...

What do we think of Myrtle Beach!?

ehhhh. its nice. but not EXCITING.

oohhh.. I GOT IT!!!

San Antonio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been there 2x now. both times on 4 day trips. and its great!!!!!

as a vacation goes, its pretty affordable. and the city is awesome

they have the 'riverwalk' which is a bunch of stores and restaurants with outdoor seating (think of little italy?) along the river. you can take boats up and down the river. there is the alamo. its historic AND FREE. and a few other things to do

and a short drive away is SEA WORLD! which is pretty nice too, if you need some adventure

its a pretty laid back, relaxed city that has a certain charm about it

take a look online. i would also recommend the hotel we stayed at (DRURY) if you are interested (valet parking where you call before you leave the room and they have the car ready, free happy hour/open bar everynight, free breakfast in the morning, rooftop pool area w hottub that overlooks the city....and it used to be an old bank, so the lobby has the high vaulted ceilings. very cool!)
