Re: Wedding Scrapbook

Did you try a big bookstore? I think they would have a nice selection.

Re: Wedding Scrapbook

Micheal's carries a ton of scrapbook stuff. My suggestion is to start small. They sell 'kits' and books about it, plus there are tons of online resources. Make sure everything is Acid-Free. I would not cut up any of your 'real' photos until you practice a bit. Make photo copies of your photos to play with. I started a scrapbook when I got engaged. It is a lot of fun, but it gets super expensive too. I also purchased software that allows me to make computerized pages.

Re: Wedding Scrapbook

I agree with Michele, start with a kit because it does get expensive. I scrapbooked for the first time with our honeymoon pics and it came out great. It gets overwhelming if you don't know where to start but a kit starts you out well. Good Luck, it is time consuming but it winds up being a great memory!

Re: Wedding Scrapbook

where are you located? the reason I ask is because there are 4 scrapbook stores on the east end of Long Island. If you are near (or want to drive) let me know and I will get you the addresses and such!

Im glad to see others into scrapbooking!! I have been doing it for 3 years now...but had to stop when we bought the house....hopefully in January I can really concentrate on our wedding album!

Good Luck!

Lisa

Re: Wedding Scrapbook

What kind do you want?

There are 2 kinds in my mind: a)the kind that uses different colored paper, funny scisscors, etc.. and b)the kind that is black/white archival paper and photo corners.

If you want type a then micheals will have a ton as well as some specific scrapbook stores.

If you want type b, online has the best selection and pricing. One site in particular has some nice stuff but there are a bunch of others: www.lightimpressionsdirect.com
