What did you do with all your items from the wedding?

I just cant see myself throwing any of it away, or even selling it but what am I going to do with it?

Bo-k: threw away (was going to do keepsake floral, but I was away and it died) Garter: didnt have one Shoes: in closet Dress: in closet Veil: ripped - going to throw away I guess
Saved: A menu and my card box along with the regular items like toasting glasses
What happened to your ring pillow? Did you RB take it home?

Bo-k: Nothing, displayed it for awhile and let it die Garters: In a keepsake engraved wedding box where I have all special little things from the wedding. I may eventually put one of them in the wedding shadow box I am making. Shoes: Two pairs, One- or kind of un wedding like and I already have worn them on honeymoon and when we got out, the other I will be dying black so I can wear! Dress and Veil: In process of having both clean and preserved.

MY dress is preserved & in a box at mom's house. My veil, cards bride to be hat, shower favor & wedding favor box & are in a palstic storage box to be put in the closet when I make room.
I dried my bouget & put it in a dispaly boc , with my headband.
I have no idea where my shoes are . My mom's house I guess. I also have decorative items I used at the reception, that my mom has, but I woulls like to display, but I probably don't have room for ALL those candles.

The Garter, I have in my dresser draw which I am saving. The Shoes are in my mother's closet in a box for safe keeping. My gown, I had it preserved with my veil and my goves. I can't through anything else out either. I have everything, even papers saved in a folder at my parents house.

I've still got everything. My bo-k and unity candle are in my curio. And the rest of it is mostly in the attic.

Bo-k: My MOH took it for me and dried it but it was looking pretty morbid so I threw it away
Garter: Didn't wear one.
Shoes: Put them in a keepsake box along with a bunch of other stuff.
Dress: Had it cleaned and put in a box to preserve it. Its in my basement now on a high shelf.
Veil: Was going to sell it until I realize there was some damage at the bottom so I think I threw it away.

Bo-k: nothing, it didn't even make it home with me. Garter: it's in a box for my goddaughter for when she gets married Shoes: nothing - they weren't very comfortable so they're just taking up space in my closet. i'll probably just toss them whenever we move next. Dress: got it preserved, will get the basinet bedding made from it when the time comes. Veil: got it preserved with the dress.

Bo-k: had a GC for floral preservation. I got a shadowbox with like 1/8 of a piece of it in there. If I didnt get the GC I would have tossed it - I hated it and it wasnt what I wanted anyway. Garter: In a box in the closet. Keeping it. Shoes:In a box in the closet. I might dye them black. Dress & veil - still hanging on the door of my bedroom! I want to preserve it for my future childs christening gown but I cant afford it right now and I would have no place to put the box!

I have everything still and I don't see myself throwing any of it away anytime soon. So I created a 'wedding memory box' and have all my stuff in that. If it gets too full and I can't fit anymore in it, then I'll have to re-evaluate the situation Like, getting a bigger box!!

Dress, slip, headpiece, veil, shoes and purse are all in the preservation box they came in.
Bo-k: I tossed after many months of deliberation.
Garter: Hanging up in my DH's office.
RB Pillow: Is in my curio closet.
Unity Candle: Is in my China closet.
I have a wrapped favor also in my China closet.
I also have a nice collection of hat boxes that my Mom gave me which are holding everything else.

Bo-K - Dried it by hanging it upside down and is now in a keepsake box i made myself and on display on a shelf
Garter - In the same box
Shoes - In my closet...probably will throw away down the road
Dress - hanging on the back of my door. I am going to clean it SOON and then use it for a bassinet. I threw away my slip.
Veil - Threw away

Bok-Dried and displayed in my living room Garter- in a bag in my small bedroom along with some other momentos from the wedding Dress and veil-preserved and boxed in my basement next to my moms dress Shoes-tossed them last year

Anything else -kept the engraving plates for the invites, going to frame them with a photo and an invite. -kept some programs -kept my corset -we have a bottle of wine that was a surprise gift to us from our chaplain during the ceremony (he spoke about the wedding at Cana and how they had wine); we'll drink it at on a special day

Bouquet: put in compost heap
Garter: I'm not sure where it is...don't really care either
Shoes: not quite sure...I'll probably dye them black--they were really comfortable!
Dress: Preserved--under my old bed at my parents house
Veil: In a drawer with some other wedding stuff like my headband, gloves, slip and card bag
I'm hoping i'll be able to pass at least some of the stuff off to other friends at some point.

My dress and veil are sitting in our spare bedroom 'waiting' to be preserved.
My shoes I have not had since my wedding night
My garter, that's a good question. Where is my garter?
My Bo-k, along with an invitation, headpiece, unity candle, cake topper, and other little momentos are on display in my curio.
Our cards, cake server, and extras are stored away in a closet.

Bo-K- Still hanging uspide down in my moms basement Garter- Haven't a clue. Took it off right before walking down the isle, it was bugging me Shoes- In a shoebox at moms Dress- Still hanging in the bag at moms Veil- Still hanging in a plastic bag at moms Tiara- Sitting here right next to me, I still like to wear it sometimes!!
I am super lazy!!! Eventually, I will place my flowers in a box or something, they still look nice, well nice for being 2 years old and I will get my gown preserved.

Right now, most of the items I saved - which is a lot - is in our card box in our closet...
My bo-k is in one of the boxes from the move.
My dress is at the cleaners to be boxed
Veil is with the other stuff (shoes, garter, manu, program, favor, crypack, etc, etc, etc) in the card box.
I can't throw any of it away - I want to preserve as much as possible
