I have to change mine, but I always sound so stupid on it!

I wish mine was short and simple....
EVERY day I have to redo with the correct date.....

Youve reached the desk of Teresa last name, today is Monday, Jan 14th 2008, i will be in the office today until 5:00pm. I am unable to come to the phone, either i am on the phone, away from my desk or with a client, please leave a brief message with your name and number and i will get right back to you., For faster service you can email me at EMAIL address.

Ours is a little differnet - the company policy is the phone is always answered by a person, so there is a main receptionist, if I am not in my office she transfers the person to my voicemail - all it says is 'please begin your message for Jeannine LAST NAME at the tone'

i've been meaning to change my office voicemail, i absolutely DESPISE voicemail. i need to think of professional way to let people know to NOT leave me messages! can't stand them!

haha my cell phone message says:

hi, this is lupe. send me a text message if you need to reach me ORRRR you could leave me a voicemail, but i NEVER check it, so, it's your choice. bye!

I thought the same thing. It is automated at my school and most of the time the secretary's get it and leave you a message.

dude, I should TOTALLY put that last part on my cellphone voicemail too! I NEVER check it! Ok, I'll check it completely randomly and it's always - you have 21 voicemails, or your voicemail is full...
