what should i do? re: new job UPDATE!!

Ok ladies.. so i was offered the job on wed. i called an hour after the interview to let them know i would be accepting. (knowing she was interviewing someone else as i was leaving)

now when i called back to accept she said she would call me later in the day with details (this was at 2pm on wed.) i still have not heard back

I called yesterday to follow up and she was not in.

should i be worried that maybe i didnt get the job? Should i call again today to follow up? i dont want ot be a pest but i dont want to miss out b/c i wasnt assertive enough...

PLEASE HELP!

heres a little more info...

when i called back to accept.. she said 'will you be home today?' i said yes she said...'i ill call you later today with more details'

didnt hear from her.. when i called yesterday the ladies in the office said she was off but would be back today.

the hours are 8am-8pm

No start day was established

Do i call or wait till monday?

do you have her email?

I would probably shoot her an email saying that you wanted to thank her for her time and was hoping to schedule time to follow up on your conversation on wednesday about your new role.

unfortunately i dont have an email.. just the office #... but i think maybe i should just call

UPDATE:::

ok so i just called.. seems like they are a bit disorganized!!! glad i called. I got a start date.. Aug. 11th and it may not be a full 40 hours so looks like i will still keep my part time job for a few hours a week but at least i have info!

now since i plan on keeping my part time job only a few hours prob like 8 a week do i need to tell them? i really have no intentions of telling them?
