I wore something like this to my FSIL's shower this past weekend. I don't have any pics though- it was shorter and pink and the black cardigan was attached. Then I wore tights and boots.

Hmmm if it's gross out I might not want to do a sweater dress.

You think black pants would be ok? Maybe high waist sailor ones? Or grey pinstripe ones?

Flat over the knee boots, pretty lace top, cardi, bib necklace.

Definitely! It's at someone's house- it won't be so fancy!

Looooove highwaisted pants!

I got a pair of ahh-mazing legging-like black pants from club monaco....they're super skinny and feel like really thick leggings but have pockets on the bum and a zipper like jeans. wait a minute, are these jeggings?

anywho - also love the idea of over the knee flat boots if you have em!
