Why do I bother....

... with LIF?

I have a reasonable question that I do not know the answer to that I poste dinthe parenting section. Since everyone on there has a KID I thought it would be a good place to ask a question about my CHILD!!!!

but NO ONE reads my posts. Really f*cking annoying.

yes, that's the one. Only a few people bothered reading it & the posts around me have like 150 reads.

i dont have kids but maybe we can help?? i have nephews and nieces.. lol...

what was the question - i'm not a member of LIF so not sure if i can see it...

You're doing better than summer programs in nassau for a 2 year old

I thought Ella was going to start out wearing your black high heeled boots . I don't have any children but I do know my cousin is all about Stride Rite when she is buying her kids their first pair.

Ok so my DD is getting very close to walking. Day Care said it's time for her to start wearing hard soled shoes. Naturally, I assumed I'd go to Stride Rite but now some other mothers are telling me that any sneakers will do. Other swear by Stride Rite. some say their kids wear Nike sneakers.

What do you think? I am so confused!

ETA - She already wears Robeez. Should I just stick to those????

i replied above.. my nephew has a wide foot so my sister uses stride rite for best support.. He has robeez too - i believe he does cuz it sounds familiar.. she goes there because they have all different fits.. IMO i think those that go Nike and other brands like that go more for the fashion stmt versus the purpose of the shoe..
my firneds tend to go that route - 9 month old has uggs... i cant even get a pair!

My mom used Stride rite for us! They have been around forever so i would go with them-I know they measure the kids really well. I wouldnt use just any sneakers because like adults feet, baby feet may have special needs; low arches, high arches, wobbly ankles etc. I know as an adult I can only wear the orthodic line of New Balance sneakers for excercise shoes.


Stick with Stride Rite.

I felt that way until I started hanging out over there a little more.

I usually get ignored on the parenting board too so I stick to NFR...

Yeah, on LIF it's like if you don't 'grow-up' over there, meaning TTC, PG, to Parenting, they ignore you.

As for shoes, the Stride Rite or Robez, should be fine for an everyday pair, till she is walking fairly securely, then whatever's clever!

My sisters Baby, he is 13 months now, does best in his Robeez!! I'd stick with those!

I know nothing about babies...but for almost walking
