I have a reasonable question that I do not know the answer to that I poste dinthe parenting section. Since everyone on there has a KID I thought it would be a good place to ask a question about my CHILD!!!!

I hear ya about LIF and from what I can remember from when my sis was little my mom used to take her to Stride Rite for all her walking needs.

I know my SIL loves Robeez for her kids, and also Stride Rite since they have all different widths (her daughter has wider feet). sorry you're not getting replies on LIF, I very rarely post over there.

I don't have any kids (yet) but i have 3 nephews (1 is 5 yrs old and 18 months twins) I bought them stride rite and they are very happy with it.....the first try was a bit weird to them though. They walked very funny but when they got used to it - they love it.
I think compare to other kids shoes - Stride rite is comfortable to them and affordable (let be real - they grow so fast so IMO they don't need $150 shoes)
