I gave an HONEST review - not a failing one - about my hair & makeup vendors, and my review was edited and the review on them removed. W T FFFFFFFF GLAD WE CAN BE HONEST HERE ABOUT VENDOR SERVICE.

Maybe if Iw ould have been exposed to some HONEST reviews about them before my wedding I wouldnt have blown $1000+ on hair and makeup that I HATE in my photos.

you every right to be upset for the censorship crap they just pulled...

we all just want to share our experience to help others....
and like i said that is kinda the point of this site

Its getting worse and worse.

Honestly as of late, it feels like these boards are governed by the vendors with no regard to the feelings of the brides-to-be/brides. I guess I can see why since they pay to advertise on here (at least some of them) but I do think its crappy

heather, this is why I didnt even bother to review her but I have gotten TONS of FMS about her rating in my profile, works for me. They are drama so it wasnt worth wasting my time.

But if you weren't happy - and I know you and many other 08 brides who used them felt the same way you did, maybe LIW should revisit with them and reconsider them as a preferred vendor.

$1,000 is not chump change on hair and make-up to just take one for the team and give a rave review if you thought it S U C K ED.

That is F'd up!!!!!!! You should put in your reiverw next to their names (FM ME) and then give the details in an FM.

I havent done a review b/c 2 LIW vendors I would give an F and it would get pulled anyway.

What!? that's ridiculous!!! if you are giving an honest and reasonable review theres no reason it should be edited.

vendors should know by now that they cant make everyone 100% happy everytime, and learn to take bad reviews in stride and learn from what we have to say....

whenever sh it like this happens it always turns me off against that vendor. like they cant take one negative thing about them. i want to tell them to GROW UP and stop acting like a child!

That s*cks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't that the purpose of this board, to give honest reviews to help brides-to-be?? Is this NEWSDAY where all you get is one slanted opinion?

I would rewrite it and put 'FM me for more details' by their names. I have read many reviews that aren't changed when this is written by vendors' names.

I just don't know - this really irritates me to hear. I mean, obviously the purpose of this site is to see which vendors will work for you and which wont. I just don't understand the concept or ERASING a piece of somebody's review only because you don't appreciate how they felt about a certain aspect of their wedding. So strange to me.

I agree with what somebody said above - that you should just edit it again and put those vendors BACK onto your review and write next to it to FM you for details.

Just because they pay doesn't mean they should have the right to edit their own reviews. And liweddings should say no to that also.

See this is what makes me irate! I had a horrible experience with a vendor that was recommended on this website and found out later that many poor reviews were removed. It really bothers me because I spent a lot of money with this person. If the vendor DOES THEIR JOB in the first place then we won't need to write poor reviews. I understand there are 2 sides to every story and the vendor can't defend themselves but I read your review, heather, and I know who you're talking about and even though I wasn't there I know there was no embellishing or lying on your part. Why can't we report the honest truth and the vendor use it as a wake up call to change their negatives so all their clients will be happy? I don't get it!
