WW girls

What is this new 'pointsplus' thing I see all over their website? I looked up a recipe and it said the points plus value was 5.

I used to go to WW many years ago, and I had 18 points to work with. Is points plus the same as my old 18 points?

Re: WW girls

Points Plus is the name of the new WW program. The point values have completely changed and the points are now referred to as points plus values. If you wanted to do the new program your daily points would be more than 18

What she said. The only way to learn your new Daily PP Target is to join online or go to a meeting.

Re: WW girls

Now the lowest daily points target anyone has is 29. Instead of using calories, fat and fiber to calculate points, you use fat, carbs, fiber and protein. Also, fruits and most vegetables (not corn, peas or starchy veggies) are zero points.

So far it's a good program (it came out after thanksgiving). I love the free fruits and veggies. But most of snacks and bread products went up in points. It's worth trying IMO.

Re: WW girls

thanks girls. I talked to my friend who ran WW meetings until Jan., and she said I would just be 29 points now. PHEW. because i really wanted to make some of those recipes and the point values seemed very high for a budget of 18 but now that they increased to 29, it makes sense!!!

Re: WW girls

I assume your friend also let you know that the points plus values of most foods have changed too right?

Yes, the recipes are directly from the WW website and says the value in 'points-plus' value. Hence, why I was wondering what points-plus was compared to old points.
