She might not have stated her opinion perfectly with the 'opposite marriage' comment- but Perez called her a stupid b*tch and that was outright uncalled for.
I think she tried to be respectful of gay people when answering it and thats probably why she was so tongue-tied

Like Perez said this morning, Miss America is supposed to represent everyone (Jewish-American, Muslim, atheist) and there was a way she could have answered that question without sounding stupid and alienating a whole group of people. Like he said, why not talk about why this country is so great, and how states have the opportunity to choose separately. And also throw in that she comes from a very religious background and doesnt necessarily agree with it? Thats fine. She didnt have to compromise anything. I think Mr Hiltons comment was worse than the way Ms. Cali answered the question. , Mr Hilton was just outright RUDE and he made a bigger A$$ out of himself than anyone, and the gay population should be angry at his immature name calling...........

So Perez had to have known what her feelings were about this before he asked this question. Perez says that Ms USA represents all, but one of the best things about the USA is that we have freedom! Freedom of speech, freedom of religion...... Ms Cali is getting more press than the actual winner, so I guess this honest approach is working for her.

Thats like saying a college education automatically makes you intelligent. I dont know where youre going with this but Im far from a ditz and that was uncalled for. No one attacked you. I know people who teach who cannot have an intelligent conversation.
