New things: Brought my BMs each a BM hankie and a little BM book Going to order 'Ring for a Kiss' bells Found the dress that I want but I just need to go into the store and look at it

I just got back from booking my church. Yeyyyyy, one more thing off my list. The priest was so wonderful, down to earth and really funny. He is also a Met fan so FI and I love him even more!

Hi all! I am catching up, once again! I am having 6 BM and my MOH. Because I have only 2 friends that I am really close with, I am only having two friends in my wedding party. Two are my cousins, one is my FSIL, and the other is my FBIL's girlfriend, who I am close with. My MOH is my sister. My FH is also having 6 GM and his best man. So all together we are having 14 people. I am going to start looking for photographer and videographer. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! for videography i suggest Wild Rose Video b/c of all the wonderful things i have heard about them on this board. We will be checking them out as well. For photography, we are going to meet with Mark Kaufmann...he seems pretty good and I personally don't want a too traditional photographer.

Lauren: I've heard great things about Patken, Imagine, VIP and Cassarino. As for video I heard Wild Rose is great too. We went with Patken b/c FH really liked them.

I forget how it works, do I call the halls before I stop by to check them out? Do you have to make an appointment? I want to start looking next week so I don't want to take the trip and find out i should have called.

good morning ladies. its friday. yea...do the friday dance...the dance of joy.
I am so happy its friday. its been a long week. I have this big wig larry having a meeting and the conference room is right behind me. oh yea for me. all morning i've been dealing with his people and there annoying questions 'wheres the bathroom', 'wheres the pantry' 'wheres the conference room' ahh open your darn eyes people, its right in front of you.
but its friday and its 8 hours 13 minutes to the weekend.
This weekend I have physical therapy in at 9:30, then weight watchers at 11:30, then going to get my nails done, going to my mom, then Brian will pick me up at my mom's to go to the airport to pick my dad and uncle up. They are returning tomorrow from florida.
Sunday its all rest.

tracy yes call the halls and find out what there hours are and if you can make an appointment to see them. also find out when you are going if there will be a party going on so you can have an idea of what the room will look like all decorated.

Hi girles...I was out sick yeaterday...wow I missed so much. Nothing new here...getting some new ideas. I was originally going to do picture frame place cards, then have the favors, cd and menu cards on the tables...I think I am running into alot of $ here How about this...Having the cd's as the place cards...Thats different right??? What do you think?

Testarosa, for video you should check out Bellarino Video. We booked them for our wedding. Phil & Kate are wonderful. If you have any questions, send me a forum.
tracy, I would make appointments to go see different halls. Chippa is right, try to go when they have setting up for a party this way you can see what the room looks like set up and you might also get ideas from what they are setting out.
Licia, I like idea. The CDs as the placecard is different. I am doing the placecard frames for the placecards plus each guest (or couple) will get a favor. Also, since I am having a 1/2 dozen roses on each table, each woman will leave my wedding with a rose.

This weekend I am going to Bellarino to look at Kate's invites for our eparty. Turns out now we have to spend more than I planned but at this rate, whatever goes, goes. Anyone used her services before?
Testarossa I agree w/ Lisa, check out Bellarino. They are great in everything. They have helped me in sooo much not including video.

or make these for favor... with colors matching BM and bouquets. I would really love to make the favors. I'm into crafts and it would add a personal touch to them. (ideas are from Michaels.com...fave store)
Thanks :) I'm going tonight to price the materials. If it's going to be too much then i won't do it. But the second pic is just tulle, satin favor boxes, clay and paper flowers and ribbon. And whatever filler i want to put in it. It suggests Jordon Almonds, but i was thinking potpourri or chocolates or something else all together. I already have a glue gun (that I've been dying to use again )

Wow....this thread is really taking off!!!
I feel so unmotivated to do wedding stuff. Thank G*d we're going on vacation next week. I need a major break. Maybe I'll come back all refresh and ready to start major planning. I've got to get my but in gear!
