04'Brides post has me curious.....
I just would like to know what were some of you ladies priorities when booking a hall and for your wedding in general?Mine are:
For the hall:
1. Nice atmosphere and great food
2. Cleanliness and good service
3. Good picture taking opportunities
For the wedding:
1. Good food, music, photography, video
Once you have all of those everything else falls into place- IMO

My priorities have never been food... which of course would be a huge problem if didn't get 40 other people's opinion on the food at my hall before I booked it. My main priority is getting the absolute most stuff for the absolute least amount of money! and having a beautiful, elegant wedding, of course!

for the hall we wanted a place that was relaxed, good food, good service and a place that really cared about our needs. We chose Manor East. It has some nice spots for pics, but it has everything we could ever want. Great food, service and everyone is really nice.
NYLISA and I are having our receptions there, on the same day

For me its service, food and place. If the service isn't top notch, everything else is a reflection of that. IMO.

I agree with Chippa. We picked the Manor East because we wanted good food and service at a price that was good for our budget.

My hall requirements were first ambiance, then service, then food, then places for pictures...Ahhh the Vineyards.

They had to be in business for a long time.It had to look beautiful from the outside as well as the inside (for pic opportunities)
Great Recommendations
Good Food
Beautiful rooms
Plenty of food for the $$$
The people we met with had to be personable and seem to be caring about making our day wonderful.
ummm... and that's all I can think of right now off the top of my head.
