1 800 Flowers
I feel SO BAD for FH. He ordered me flowers to be sent to work for Valentine's Day from 1 800 Flowers. Not only were they NOT delivered yesterday, when he looked online today, they hadn't even left the warehouse yet!!!! He called and they told him he could have a refund or they would deliver them when they can. I'M ON VACATION! SCHOOL IS CLOSED!!! Are you going to deliver them to an empty building?!?! I'm sorry, but you pay EXTRA to have them delivered on Valentine's Day - and they didn't provide their service.Sorry for venting, I'm just so angry.

That really sucks, He did good for trying. I would ask for a full refund. My DH always uses Proflowers, we found that the flowers last much longer and he gets a better value.

It's just weird too because his mom got hers in NJ, and they delivered to another teacher in my building but didn't have mine. SO ANNOYING! He is upset about it, which is why I'm so mad.

It's strange that it shows that they haven't left the warehouse. Hello, valentine's day was yesterday guys, what are you waiting for? He can't control it, so no sense in getting upset.

Re: 1 800 Flowers
Sounds similar to what happened to me yesterday. Around 4:30 FH started texting me at work asking where I was in the office. He went on to tell me that he had sent flowers and they were to be hand delivered to me before 4:00. I usually leave at 5:00, but I hung around to wait for the delivery guy. Well, UPS comes and there are my 'hand delivered' flowers. I quickly peaked in the box before running to the train and saw some small, droopy hot pink gerbera daisies (my least fav flower!!!). I met FH at the train station where he asked how I liked my flowers and 'aren't they so beautiful'? Turns out...He paid so much money to have a dozen long stemmed peonies sent to me and we ended up getting 10 half dead daisies! He called their customer service and got hung up on twice. We ended up calling the credit card company and disputing the charge. Do NOT use Ava's Flowers. They are a complete scam!

This same thing happened to my co-worker yesterday. It's probably much better and less aggravating to use a local florist.

I agree with the above. I've always had trouble with 1-800-Flowers. I have been able to get better deals with local florist.

This happened to a friend of mine from work also. They told him the flowers would arrive next Tuesday. He told them that's like saying the Christmas tree would be delivered on December 26th.Welcome New Vendors
