so I have it narrowed down to 10 halls but that's still a lot to drag FH to lol. I don't know which ones I should get off the list. I've searched and read reviews.
does anyone have anything to say good/bad about any of these halls?
Swan Club Leonards Douglaston Manor Fox Hollow The Riviera Chateau Briand Watermill Villa Lombardi's Crestwood Manor Thatched Cottage
really any input is so appreciated to help me out. I like all these places for different reasons and it's just driving me crazy lol
It's so hard to pick

the wniter pavillion or whatever that room is called at fox hollow is amazing. crestwood manor is owned by the same people that own venetian yacht club. I just thought it was so cute. plus I think the views from some of the windows looks like a zoo lol. in a really cool way. like there are hills/trees outside the windows.
everyone keeps saying Villa is the best. it's my favorite menu. very italian.

Re: 10 halls ughhhh
my sister was married at Leonards. The ambiance was amazing! they had a large outdoor space to take pics in if you don't want to go to a seperate location. in regards to value and bang for you buck, this place is tops! and they really do work with you in regards to throwing stuff in for you! the food was good too

Re: 10 halls ughhhh
Leonards- had my prom there and one of my cousins got married there years ago... from what i remember it was nice...
Fox Hollow- we checked it out but it wasn't really our style, and the room that i liked was too small for the amount of ppl we were having anyway
Chateau Briand- we just had our wedding there, it was more our style and really great!, from the first time we walked through the doors, everyone was very nice and accommodating... if you have any questions, feel free to FM me
Good luck!

i visited 5 out of your list i went with the chateau briand because its beautiful and offered a menu that didnt compare to anything else i saw with exception of fox hollow they have almost the same menu..i didnt care for riviera because of the partitions in the room almost that the families would be separated and then they were putting extra tables in a corner of the dance floor swan club was nice also they have beautiful grounds i didnt like villa lombardis too much for me plus didnt like cocktail hour room hope this helps

I've only been to Crestwood and Fox Hollow...
Fox Hollow I honestly don't remember much of since I was at someone else's wedding about 2 years a go..
Crestwood I really like, FH hated it so we didnt book...the other issue w/ it is that it isnt wheelchair accessible and we have g-parents in wheelchairs sooo that was a problem! lol

we both are lucky no one we know has any problems with stairs or anything so that's the one issue we do not have I thought crestwood was so cute. fox hollow too though I don't remember much besides the reception area room. I've seen 40 halls so it's all blurry.

Re: 10 halls ughhhh
We are looking at the Chateau Briand for 9/2/12 which is labor day weekend.
They said they have two parties already booked and we would be the third if we decide to book there.
I like that they would let us customize our menu and use the outdoor location for cocktail hour and an after party.
I am hesitating because 3 parties at once is a lot....
