There's a nice buffet near Roosvelt Field. I think its called International buffet on Stewart Avenue I believe.

HB do u know the Price per person??

i don't remember. i was there for a party. maybe about 12.00 per person

We just went 2 weeks ago. For Friday night dinner, it was $21.95 per person. and ladies, they have all you can eat lobster tails!!!!! More expensive that Old Country buffet, but much better food, IMO.

And they have all you can eat sushi too!

both places sound great - though, the one thing that worries me about the place by roosevelt field is the holiday traffic by the mall.

Old Country Buffet, well IMO the food is not so hot..

International Buffet on Stewart Ave is a better choice, one I've been there plenty of times, they have a bar.. and plenty of parking! Any where near Roosvelt fields will be horrible to travel or park near..

Also, if you have 40 people, you can get your own room/area. I have been to the Old Country Buffet in Staten Island. I dont know wherethe one is in LI.

ok International buffet is $7.99pp for lunch until 3 pm and for dinner is 21.99pp and they do have a bar.

Thanks LP for taking over this!

I have been out of the loop with work and all. Dooodles is fine! Great actually. She is still planning on joining everyone for the GTG.

I know nothing about any of the places mentioned and probably can not attend so my vote is for wherever is closer to Brooklyn.

I would prefer the Old Country Buffet-- I don't eat seafood so I don't know how I'd like the International Buffet...

Afternoon (before 3 would be great to save us all some money!) would be better for me, if we are taking a vote.

Also, if anyone likes Chinese there are some good Chinese buffets around, one in Farmingdale in Airport Plaza is great and there is also one on Merrick Avenue that's yummy!!

just keep in mind - if we open the 12.11 GTG to all - some ladies my not have gifts as they were not in the Secr. Santa
We dont want any hurt feelings..right...

so we either KEEP it to the Secret Santa Original sign up

or

open to all & some will be w/o gifts that day

I say keep the secret santa GTG as it was and then just plan another GTG for all! We can never get enough wedding talk on LIW nevermind in person!
