We had digital color pictures and film B&W. I WISH they were all didgital!! The DVD with the pictures set to music is AMAZING and everyone LOVES it!

Plus - I had a lot of pics printed using snapfish.com, and I made books through Mypublisher.com and I couldn't put in the B&W because they don't do B&W film prints (a lot of places don't and if they do it takes longer and is more $$)

Just something to think about...

I took my black and white negatives to CVS and within an hour they put all images onto a cd for me. I then uploaded these onto shutterfly and ordered more copies. It cost 1.99 at cvs and we had 150 pics. YOu really cant tell the difference in quality between these (reprints) and the digital pics.

stupid question-what is the difference?
If they do all digital do you only get your proofs on a CD?
Oh I am so confused-I thought digital was supposed to be better

if i understand correctly

they will be using digital cameras still to shoot

but 1/2 and 1/2 means brides will get a certain # of proofs and all the pics on dvd

all digital seems like they dont want to give you any actual proofs anymore



this will not be acceptable cause i had a huge fight with my mother - all beause she wants actual pictures to hold in her hand. She doesnt like the digital thing so i will have to tell Dom im sticking with 1/2 and 1/2 to avoid another fight

We still got the actual proofs for the black and white even though we went nearly all digital.

Well I just reviewed my pictures last night and it was great! The DVD set to music is awesome and DH and I were tearing...some pictures captured so much emotion. There were 1056 pictures on the DVD!
My only is there isn't a single picture of my place card table...there are pictures of the place cards (which I worked really hard to make) but there aren't any of the table and that stinks because I had a beautiful tall call lily arrangement...and there are no close up pictures of my menus...no general shots of the cocktail hour either with people sitting, mingling, etc....just random close ups of details. Of course, I didn't request any of these pictures at the time, so if you girls think you want something, ask for it because I'm hoping the videographer captured more! Overall we were very pleased...have to go through 1300+ pictures and then I'll be posting some in my review (my DH loved them so much that he doesn't want me to post...he said they're 'too private'...aw!). There are about 4 pictures with Mr. Blue (my cat) and I LOVE them...he came out so cute! Heehee. I have to say they deserved their money...they did a great job. But if you want film, tell them you want it. That isn't a question I should of been asked the day before my wedding...but whatever, I take all the blame for saying 'OK'.
