i know it's a small budget... but do u think $1500 is realistic for the below?? if so, any florists suggestions?? i am not particular about flowers.... anything that looks pretty is fine with me.
i will have about 225 guests at my wedding, therefore will need
- approximately 20-22 centerpieces - 1 bo-k for me (NO toss bo-k is needed) - 2 (or MAYBE 3) bo-k for bridesmaids - 1 boutonniere for FH - 2 (or again, maybe 3) more for groomsmen. - 2 corsages for moms - 1 boutonniere for dad
that's probably all i need... what do u think??
any advice is welcome!! thanks in advance!!
ETA: OTHER THAN JENNBLOSSOMS.COM, ARE THERE OTHER FLORISTS YOU WOULD RECOMMEND THAT WOULD WORK WITH A LOW BUDGET? THANKS!

Re: $1500 flowers - is this possible??
if you really dont care about what types of flowers are used then i think it is doable - i would think if you use carnationa and daisies and several types of filler flowers for centerpieces or even if you go with silk instead of live it is possible call liz at fine designs in coram - we got our flowers for less than 1000 --- worth a call.

definitely doable... i'm spending a little over that with 250 guests and 16 people in the bridal party. my CPs are going to be very simple (low). we're using john from flower michele.

Re: $1500 flowers - is this possible??
My advice: Go see a couple of the above suggested florists and i also recommend john from flower michele. Tell them what you need and what you have to spend. Most florists will work with your budget and give you several suggestions of different centerpieces and bouquets that work within your budget. Good luck

It's definetly doable for that much, I just met with Donald Hedgecock over the weekend & although I was quoted more than that, I also wanted high centerpieces & also needed church decorations, but for what you want he could definetly meet your price.

Re: $1500 flowers - is this possible??
I think your budget is very doable. I got the following for $900 at National Floral in Bellmore
1 Bridal Bouquet ( 25 or 35 roses – your choice) 3 Bridesmaid Bouquets ( 1 dozen roses each bouquet) 3 Groomsmen’s Boutonnieres 1 Grooms Boutonniere 2 Mother Corsages 2 Father Boutonniere’s 1 Flower Girl Basket with rose petals 1 Ring Bearer Boutonniere 14 Centerpieces (low with 1 dozen roses and filler flowers) 1 Throwaway bouquet
Definately. Check out Carmine from Flowers By Emil . He works with you and any budget you have.

Re: $1500 flowers - is this possible??
Check out Verbena Designs. She quoted me $2200 for Bouquets for all (4 bm), corsages and flower bracelets for the moms and one grandma, boutinierres for everyone, 20 centerpieces with white roses and hydrangeas, decorating the structure we will get married under, a bathroom basket and 2 flower girl baskets.
Jennifer was really sweet. We have 3 more appts but I have a feeling we will come back to Verbena.
