I think it's so beautiful!!!! My dress is lace too and I'm wearing a sash, but tying it in the back. I think your dress looks great with or without the sash, but you could add one just to break it up a little!

Ok first off I think that is a beautiful dress-but there is something lacking. There is no waist to that dress which is probably what is throwing you off about loving it on you. Ask the store if they have a sash you can just put on with it. I would consider going with a sash and instead of tying it in a bow buying a larger brooch and pinning it in the back to the fit and length that you like.

GOod Luck, I think if anything it makes your body look straight more then hippie b/c there is no waist.
