***2013 Westbury Manor Thread****

Hey gals, So I decided to start this thread just so we can help each other out, or whatever. lol
I am in the Garden room and my ceremony will be in the grassy knoll area.
My theme color is pink, ivory and gold, im trying to go with a victorian style. The colors will be very muted.

Where will your Ceremony be?
And the reception room?
What is your theme?

Love this!! My ceremony is at Holy Spirit church and reception room is manor room. I have pulled pinks browns and golds into my vintage theme. I was doing cherry blossoms but can not get them for centerpieces bc of the timing.

Ceremony is at St. Frances in Wantagh. Room is the Manor - My theme is still to be determined I guess? LOL I definitely know I want more of a romantic feel, dimly lit - maybe some uplighting? Going for deep purple, whites, silver..

If we want a signature cocktail drink, does that have to be in our contract?

Good Evening Ladies and Congrats to you all!! My fiance and I are strongly considering WM as our location but I have one issue that plagues my mind and I was wondering if any of you had the same feeling. I am crazy about the MW otherwise. Plus they seems to be very open about assist me with planning a LI wedding from out of state.

I keep thinking for my 175 to 200 guests that the Manor room is going to be too small. I'm new to this whole wedding planning thing (only engaged for one month) and don't know if this is because I am nervous to pick a venue.

Anyone feel the same way? Any help would be great!!!
