I've upped my water intake and it seems to help but I've hit a bit of a standstill. I think I might try insanity again, especially since I'll be in a bikini on vacay in 35 days!!

Started week two of couch to 5k. It was exhausting but I'm sticking with it! Shin splints and all.

I'm a little late to this, but I finally restarted my weight watchers last Friday! I figured now that I finally have a date for my wedding it's time to get serious! I actually got the activity link thing to see if it helps give any sort of motivation! But I think we can totally do this together!

Welcome Sgf2 and ASemderWedding. I think staying positive is key and being motivated. Alyssa have you done insanity before? I have been curious to try it but also terrified lol. Go ladygoodman Congrats! Now that I am feeling better this week I am going to start back up on the c25k hoping this time to get passed week 2.

Glad you're feeling better. I'm trying to get passed week 2 but so far it was painful.

**Need to vent!**So I dieted the past 2 weeks lost like 4 pounds and got off track Fri-Today and gained it all back. I am hoping a lot of it is water weight- I am so sad. Why can't I do this!?
I constantly do this. Diet, lose, break the diet and then get completely depressed because I am NOWHERE near my goal weight! ugh ugh ugh. Gotta just get back on track tomorrow

Ugh, I do the same thing Soon2BeMrsPy! I honestly believe that self-sabotage is the hardest thing to overcome, and you have no one to blame but yourself! I'm trying to plan my meals the day before, at least for a baseline. And I'm also trying to be more active on a normal basis to help boost things!
The other thing you could could do is see a nutritionist. I've been toying around with this idea for a while now. I have friends that have seen one, and they've really been able to help them with their eating habits and stuff. It's been an eye opener for them.

I am the queen of self sabotage! I'm terrible. I have even seen a nutritionist! I have good eating habits but have binge days. That's my problem I'll be good all week and come Saturday I'm eating all day long. Grrr

Self sabotage is hard to overcome I used to to that but you just have to know you can do it. It really is mind over matter. Weekends are hard for a lot of people because they don't have work so the schedule changes. Instead try to keep your schedule consistant by eating the same times as you would any other day and don't give in to what the mind thinks it wants. If you are a bordeom eater like I used to be go for a walk, throw yourself into your wedding plans anything to distract you from that 'boredom' eating. I also plan my meals the day before and it helps a lot! Ladygoodman I got back on the c25k yesterday :) gotta stick with it. I am so afraid of what is to come after week 2 it hard but the benefits of losing weight will be greater than the pain.

I totally agree bridejackson22! Self sabotage is my biggest downfall! I really do think its a mind over matter thing. My problems happen on the weekend when my routine gets throne out the window! I'm hoping to become and stay more active to overcome it. I think we can all do it!

It is definitely worth it. I think what lit a fire under my *** was I tried on wedding dresses for the first time this past weekend. I looked in the mirror and saw what I always feared 'fat bride'. I couldn't help but judge myself and not the dress cause I didn't love the way I looked so how could I love the way I looked in a dress. So after that I took that to motivate me to change that so the next time I try a dress on I am not going omg my arms are huge or my butt looks huge, this does not make me look thin. On top of self sabatoge we also have to hold ourselves accountable, only we can change ourselves. We can do this. I did Jillian Michaels 30 day shred level 1 yesterday. Made it through! I am little sore today but I am sure it will be worth it. Doing another session of couch 2 5k tonight. I am determined to actually make it through this program and Jillians. :)

I'm alternating 30 day shred and couch to 5k as well. And then I rest on weekends. One tip be careful on the pushups. I sprained my elbow a few weeks ago trying to do too much.

*high five* That is what I am going to do. I do want to do one day of yoga so I am thinking Saturdays will be my yoga days or if it is nice out hiking days. Sundays are my rest days.
Definitely give the Jillian Michaels workout a try I managed to get through it, I definitely feel it today but that's good. No pain no gain.
