Its ok to go out & enjoy a meal. Try to make a better choice, like get something baked or grilled instead of fried. Just do simple things like dont eat the bread, or skip and appetizer or dessert. Then wake up tomorrow and start new. Don't beat yourself up. If you do that you'll make yourself fail. Enjoy your dinner with FH

Went off my diet today. I went to a baby shower at Trattoria Lucia and ate my face off. But tomorrow is a new day and I will get back on track. Monday starts couch to 5k.

Like all the ladies have said, enjoy it! Try to look at the menu online (if it's available) ahead of time? I always try to do that, so I don't have to actually look at the menu and be tempted when I get there.
Have fun though :)

That's so funny. It's right down the block from my house and I hardly ever go there, I always forget about it. The food is really good, I have to remember to go more often.

Thanks ladies. I can always count on you all for support. Temptation kills me. I didn't make the best choices. FH & I have been struggling with WW and just don't think it is the right plan for us. I have previously counted my calories and had success with that because I didn't want for so many things which in turn makes me binge! We have decided to just count our calories and exercise. Plan hits full effect on Monday as tomorrow is my nephews 6th birthday. We say we are committed I just hope we can really stick to it. I am so tired of the back and forth yet I know it is my fault. FH is way better than I. I am the one who persuades him to cheat. I am terrible and my own worst enemy! Oyyy

It's ok to go out to dinner. FH and I we allow if I didn't slip up to many times we go out once a month for a date night to go out to dinner. We haven't been in a while cause social outings I count as my slip ups but always get right back on, which is the important part. Just stick with it. You have to find a plan that is right for you. I have done plans where it gave me what I can and can not eat but I wouldn't always like it and would end up falling off. I just use my fitnesspal and I love it. i put my own recipes in and it calculates the calories I just plan the day a head to see what I can have in a day and it usually helps me stick to it. I was at a babyshower and then hungout with friends after Sat night so there was some cheating involved but next day went right back to the healthy eating and FH and I took the couch 2 5k workout outside.Ladygoodman how was week 3? I am so nervous to start this week I have 1 more week 2 to do and then week 3 starts. You start week 4 this week!

The first day was hard. But day 3 wasn't as hard. I'm definitely scared for week 4. Running 5 minutes straight scares me. But I can feel my legs getting used to it.

So I read an interesting article and I thought about you MrsPy and this can help alot of us. We probably don't realize it but it's harder for us to forgive ourselves than it is other people. So when we mess up we beat ourselves up, and we don't forgive ourselves, we gained weight we don't forgive ourselves for that. I work for 3 fitness magazines so I read fitness articles and medical journals all day long lol. It was a long article but here is the heart of it. I think this is a good key in weightloss, along with confidence that we can, and positive attitude.
6 Ways Forgiveness Can Improve
Your Body, Health and Mind
Does it feel hard to forgive your past mistakes, current shortcomings or future worries and doubts? As Erin Wehrenberg, my co-facilitator for the Revolution of You Retreat, says, it's easier to forgive others than yourself. It's a daily process.
Some of us never consider forgiving ourselves, nor do we realize the powerful benefits releasing hurts and fears can have on our health. What goes on in your mind affects your body and hormonal health. If you truly want to feel freedom in your life, forgiving yourself is a positive next step.
Here are 6 ways forgiveness to offer you peace of mind, happiness and fulfillment...
Releasing past hurts and fears can open your heart to future possibilities.
Forgiving your shortcomings can help you move away from a mentality of 'not enough' to a 'more than enough' attitude.
Letting go of anxiety and worry can help you learn to trust and have faith while you're patiently awaiting results. Think of all the mental energy you'd have!
Forgiving yourself for making decisions that don't bring you happiness can help you choose better in the future.
Forgiving your not-so-perfect qualities can help you see yourself through lenses of love instead of limitation.
Releasing the cycle of thoughts that keep you from venturing out of your comfort zone can give you the courage to choose different thoughts.
What do you need to forgive yourself for? This is a big step for many of us, and no matter how scary it may feel, forgiveness opens you up to a new mindset and attitude. When you change your mindset, your decisions begin to shift and your reality often becomes what you've envisioned.
Action Step: Write a list of things for which you want to forgive yourself. Speak them out loud and breathe through the process.
Optional Action Step: Notice how you feel tomorrow and the rest of the week after releasing some deep hurts and fears. Continue the process of forgiveness of self when you feel ready again.

Did day 1 last night and I though my legs were going to fall off. Not only do you run for 5 minutes but you do it twice. Ooooowwwwww lol.

This may sound so minuscule but is a HUGE accomplishment for FH & I. We were so tempted to just order dinner tonight and we were literally seconds away from picking up the phone and we thought about how we would feel AFTER the meal & decided not to! Instead I made our originally healthy meal of baked chicken and feel so good about it!!!
