Just finished week 7 of couch to 5k and yesterday I had on a pair of jeans I couldn't close a month ago! I also saw there is a 5k to 10k app. I may try that in two weeks when couch to 5k is done. Keep it up ladies! We got this!
See your weight change is great, but THIS is motivation :)Great job!!

Hi ladies. I totally fell off the wagon the past few weeks. I had a lot of big things due at the end of the semester and stress-ate myself into a 5lb weight gain
The good news? I joined NY Sports club! Since most of my assigments are due this week, I plan on getting back into the gym routine. I just have to get over psyching myself out about going into a new gym. I hate learning the layout and figuring out where the machines are...I feel like a loser! lol...but I know that's in my head and I gotta get my butt back in gear!

Checking in! I fell off the exercise wagon. SHOCKER!! but I did get back on today! I went out for a run this morning. I wish I could get into a routine of this. I feel so much better during the day. I feel proud of myself & accomplished, but I am so damn lazy!!
I feel like something clicked today and I am hoping it sticks. (I feel like I say this every week!! ugh!!) I am going to try to do a weekly weigh in on here of my loss/gains. Maybe that will keep me accountable ?!?! who the hell knows
I just passed the 14 month mark 5 days ago. My a$$ needs to get in gear!Lets do this ladies!!!

You can do it, just stay with it! I no loner hold myself to standards or anything - my life is just to crazy to have a normal routine. It sucks but it is what it is. When I can squeeze it in, I do - and I'm content with it!

That's ok! Life happens and people can't be on diets 100% of the time. I think it's all about learning how to balance our goals with what's realistic. We're all on the right track!

Update - I went to the gym for the first time in 6 months and boy did it kick my @$$! I could barely do half of what I used to be able to do. I found I started psyching myself out and I almost left after a half hour (my normal workouts are about an hour), but I realized that I'd only be fooling myself. I ended up staying for the full hour! I'm hoping wedding dress shopping will motivate me even more. If that doesn't do it, I don't know what will!

I always try to get myself to leave the gym but I am usually good with pushing myself and staying. I hate being there though so 1 hour I am out the door
Congrats on getting back there, it isn't easy. I went dress shopping last week and hated myself in the mirror. It really seemed to motivate me. I only have 6-10 lbs to lose, which is always the hardest to get off, so I know it will take a lot of work. I get so frustrated not seeimg immediate results I end up quitting. My brain doesnt seem to understand that 100 crunches will not get me a 6 pack!!

I think the word diet and restricting in general messes us up. The more we try to avoid I think the more some of us cave. I have found own balance on my own by listening to my body. I don't digest meat well which is why I am a vegetarian and my body responded very well to the change. I don't restrict food where I go all crazy like never can have it. I just do it in moderation. Like I had a handful of miniature reese's yesterday and I'm okay with that it was my treat I still stayed in my calorie allotment for the day. I also know eating bad I feel crappy my body just doesn't do well with it and I bloat feeling like the good year blimp so I hate feeling like that so I don't want to eat food that makes me feel that way. My fh birthday was the other day so we went to the cheesecake factory went over calories for the day but I didn't beat myself up about it I was like it was worth it cause my fh was happy ad we don't go out to eat often the last time we went out to dinner was valetine's day so it was ok. I didn't feel physically good after it lol I felt bloated so I couldn't wait to go back to eating clean. Everyone is going to have a different method of what makes their bodies respond and feel good you just got to find yours.I wish results were faster but after doing this for a few months I am finally starting to see small changes that I can physically notice. My arms are getting a bit smaller, my pants are lose, shirts fitting better. So it's hard work and not instant but worth it in the long run. MrsMango I'm the same way I will work out the next morning I look in the mirror and go okay where's the six pack lol. I will settle for flat abs I don't need any pack just as long as it's flat lol.

Thanks! I'm in the same spot as you. I lost about 30 lbs a few years ago and managed to keep it off. I was down to my last 5, but now I'm at the point where I want to lose 10 and no matter what I do, it seems like it won't come off! My brain works the same way!! I did an hour of cardio and was like 'awesome! 5 lbs gone!'
I used to be good with doing crunches, but didn't see the results fast enough so I stopped. Stupid move since doing nothing obviously doesn't bring great results either!!

Wagon, where are you?! I fell off and can't find you to get back on!!
Jeez! What a whirlwind. My brother came in, then my mother came in and FH & I were great all week and of course this weekend, we fell off the wagon because we had a ton of stuff going on. Yikes. All I know is, I have been committed but the weekends are a killer. Luckily, the next few weeks we have NO plans so we are getting back on track. Eager to get this 20 pounds gone so I can just LIVE and stop obsessing over it.

Don't worry you will find your way back. When I stopped stressing about it and just more went at it in the I want to get healthy aspect is when it became easier.I know it's not a lot but I lost 2 more ounces this week. I seem do go down in half pounds and ounces lately so I will take what I can get at least it's not a gain. :)
