Weighed myself this morning-down 2.6! So happy :) hoping to keep it up!
Awesome job!
I'm getting so discouraged. I have to wear a stupid walking cast on my foot--my dr doesn't know what's wrong with it after getting x-rays and everything. He thinks it is just a muscle, but told me to keep the boot on for a few weeks :( I can't work out which is actually discouraging me from eating healthy. So annoying

Oh no! Hope you are OK. I understand. I HATE dieting. I just want to live my life. It is so frustrating this mind game I play with myself day in and day out. I just love to eat!!

GO MrsMango! You keep it up girl. RoandJoe don't get discourage just stick with it. The boot is just temp. have you gone to a specialist or an ortho? They specialize in muscles, bones, that sort of thing.MrsPy I know its fustrating but we definitely have to keep a positive mind about losing weight. Especially cause we want to look and feel good the day of our wedding. Just be positive, stick with it don't sweat about what you cant eat and get excited about something you can. Trhat usually gets me going about the healthy lifestyle change.
Even with my set back this week I decided I was going to hit reset and really go at it again with a positive attitude and clean eating this week no cheating. I don't have any social gatherings this week that will tempt me to eat wrong. So I broke out my juicer this week and made green smoothies to start my day off with and eating clean all day. Suprisingly I have no cravings for junk, more energy and just feeling better. Lets hope the scale tells me good things too this week :) keep up the good work ladies :)

Some cheats: if your really craving something:- only steamed veggies
- if you love french fries..make them urself..cut a potato into thin slices, place on baking sheet with just pepper and salt and bake
- if you love pasta//no calories noodles called miracle noodles work great
-if you love ice cream..if you can find a sedutto they have seudtto frozen yogurt which is only 10 calories an ounce!
-if you crave chocolate..there are the single serves vanilla/choc sugar free..only 60 calories ! and they taste great!

Also, check out Hungry Girl recipes. She subsitutes pasta with tofu shirataki noodles. A whole package is 2 points. Sometimes I mix it with a little bit of regular pasta to stretch it for FH and I, but it's so good!

If I am craving chocolate I go for a kcup its 60 calories and they are pretty good gets the craving gone. Or I do a vegetarian chocolate mousse wich is 2 ripe avacoados, agave syrup, and 2 table spoons of coco poweder. So rich and creamy for under 150 calories, not a lot of fat and basically no carbs, and your getting some healthy omega's in which is good for your skin, hair, and nails :)I did my weigh in yesterday I am down 4lbs I lost the 2 I have gained back and 2.2 more :)

I'm actually looking forward to it! I gotta get my butt in gear not only for the wedding but we're going on vacay in April so I need my bikini body back

Thanks Alyssa! I use fitnesspal and it really does keep you in check of your daily calories. I have lost 12lbs so far using it and changing my lifestyle. Suprisingly with the holidays I didn't gain a lot I gained 3lbs lost them lost a lbs gain 1 back, didn't lose, so it wasn't too terrible with my little cheats and the holidays. But the site really kept me in check not to go overboard, seeing it in black and white. It also gives you what you would weigh if you ate the amount you ate that day totals when you submit your food dairy for the day. So say you were right on its incentive to stay with it cause you see that number and you're like yes I will in 5 weeks. Or if you go over it says you will be more if you ate like that every day. So even if you don't look at the blogs for motivation your own page does. Sometimes you really don't realize how much we are taking in. I got my butt back in gear last week I slacked off too but I gotta stay focused for the wedding, engagement party, summer, vacation, and to just be healthier.

You can do it MrsPy! Glad to hear. When we fall off the wagon we just gotta get right back on. Messing up 1 meal, one day, one week, doesn't make us fail at weight loss, just human.

Day 1 back to Weight Watchers and we hit the gym!! Feeling good. I have a question though. FH and I do NOT ever exercise. This is our first time and although we did it we don't want to get bored and over it. FH suggests we go MWF to the gym so we won't get tired of it. I suggested if we go MWF that maybe on T, TH we do something small but active such as Wii Sports or even purchase an active/fun Wii game. Do you think that this is a good plan or should we go to the gym 5 days a week?

as someone who hates exercise I suggest MWF, then get into adding more on. I used to do 5 days a week & give myself the weekends off as a treat.

I think you should start off with 3 days a week and then bump it up to 4, then 5. If you set a realistic goal it's easier to achieve and therefore you won't become discouraged. I loathe exercising and it has been a lot easier for me to get to the gym 3 days a week because I know that's a realistic start! I have been feeling so much better too.So I just started using myfitnesspal and I love it but I can't figure out how to put in my exercise. I added the exercises that I usually do when I go to the gym and I went yesterday but I can't figure how to submit it to yesterday
what am I doing wrong??

I agree setting too high of a goal can just discourage you and make you want to quit. I say start small and work up to it. Also if your gym offers classes if you are feeling bored switch it up and do different things on the 3 different days.Alyssa on myfitnesspal there is a exercise tab if you click on it they have a sort of chart thing that shows up. In small writing under cardiovascular or strength trainging it says add an exercise type in what you do and for how long. The site automatically takes what you added and tallys it up on your totals and adds to your food journal.

So I started back on WW and exercise and lost 3 pounds since Monday! May have been water weight but I will take it!! Stressing out though because now I get 1 less point a day because of my weight bracket and I already feel like I am starving! Although, I do count my fruit because I just feel like it's is safer for monitoring the sugar that way. I have calculated my points based on the old program because I figure that has to work if I count my total as old program but count my food as points plus that I would lose but now I feel like YIKES because I am starving and have so little points. I am allowed 26 with the old program and 32 with the new..Welcome New Vendors
