So I started back on WW and exercise and lost 3 pounds since Monday! May have been water weight but I will take it!! Stressing out though because now I get 1 less point a day because of my weight bracket and I already feel like I am starving! Although, I do count my fruit because I just feel like it's is safer for monitoring the sugar that way. I have calculated my points based on the old program because I figure that has to work if I count my total as old program but count my food as points plus that I would lose but now I feel like YIKES because I am starving and have so little points. I am allowed 26 with the old program and 32 with the new..
Way to go! I would suggest you only start counting the fruit after you have two fruit servings a day. Do not count your zero point vegetables as points. I used to do this because I would see the weight come off faster, but then because of this I was starving because I was reaching my daily points value too quick and was still hungry. And because of this I hit a 9 week plateau and didn't lose a damn ounce and that was with exercising 6 days a week. Watch the amount of fruit you eat, but I really wouln't track it. Also you went from 32 to 26 poonts because the program changed. You used to count fruit back then. Forget the old program & work the new one. I promise its better~

I don't count vegetables at all. I keep saying maybe I shouldn't count my fruit but was just afraid of not losing. So I should be doing the 32 points then you think? I am so confused haha..

No. Follow the program as is now. (forget the old program) Use the 26 points. I wouldn't start counting fruit unless you eating 6 apples and day type thing. If you are having 2-3 fruits a day I would NOT count it. If you literally track everything that goes in your mouth, weigh & measure your food, i PROMISE you, you will lose! (oh and exercise, though I am a lazy $hit and shouldn't advocate for that because I hardly go to the gym
)

The new program (Points Plus) is 32 points though I was just using the old points (26) because I figured that would help me by eating less. I think that might also help me by not counting some fruit because fruit will fill me longer to stop wanting to nosh! I track my points, drink water and now incorporate exercise so I am hoping this works.

Oh ok. I misunderstood. I thought you were saying you now get 26 points. If they say 32 with the new Points+ program I would do that, or at least do not go lower then 30. As you lose weight the number will drop so if you are already eating 30 points and you number drops you are going to hit a stalemate. Also you need to remember points are calculated differently now they the were with the old Points program.Sorry, I didnt mean to confuse you. Its just when I played with the program and tried to lose faster and do it my way it didn't work and I learned the hard way. Tracking, weighing, and measuring your food is where you are going to get the best results.
I just went back to WW sunday. The program works and I feel so much better when I follow it.
Also, if you want a better loss, dont use all of your 49 extra points and don't use your activity points. Thats when i've seen the greatest results.
hope this helps a little. Sorry for the confusion lol

Thanks so much! Ok- I get it. I never even count the extra points per week.. FH and I figured we could just combine programs but maybe that is not the best bet. I think at least what I will do is not count fruit, as that would make a big difference. Thanks for the advice!

Congrats Mrs.Py on your weight loss!I was super stressed at work yesterday and went over my daily calorie intake :( I didn't eat anything too terribel had some sweet potato tortila chips and salsa, and spelt pretzels and a 1/2 cup serving of vegan mousse. Hopefully it won't effect the weight loss this week. I have been good the rest of the week and hopefully be motivation to not do it again lol. I also haven't workout yet this week besides for a mini yoga session. Hopefully next week won't be so crazy I can get back on my schedule again.

weighed in today. Down .8 :) I'll take it. I only have 8 lbs to lose so I know it will come off slowly. I'm hoping to get back to the gym this week. And hopefully I didn't gain my .8 back today during the Super Bowl!! Lol

I think that the Wii fit is a great plan. I'm trying to go to the gym twice a week this for February since I HATE going to the gym (and I have a gym in my building lol). In March I plan on going 3 days a week, but on my off days, I love playing Just Dance on the Wii. It may not be the same work out as running of riding the bike at the gym, but you're moving and not sitting on the couch. So already it's a plus. Good luck!

Ugh! I am so darn frustrated. I was so successful this week and yesterday and today have completely fallen off the wagon and I have gained some weight back. I don't know why I constantly have great weeks and then sabotage myself...

It happens we all do it. The key is not to give up and think we are defeated cause of a set back. We just have to do the best we can, realize when we make mistakes and just be aware of it, try not to repeat it. Just don't get discouraged we can all do this.

So it looks like FH will be working all weekend due to the storm. I am dreading being cooped up. I've been so good & totally on program but boredom always gets the best of me! Hoping to stay strong and on program this snowy weekend!

MrsMango I do the same thing so I am a little nervous. But I downloaded some ebooks cause our power goes out easily so as long as I can charge my ereader in the car i can keep boredom to a min. But I did buy some healthier snacks to eat during the storm. I made a healthy apple crisp, homemade gaucamole, and stuff to make soup.

How are you ladies holding up? I've been much better then I expected. I've been looking at a lot of bridal magazines and reminding myself of how I want to look like the brides in the magazines. It seems to be helping. My weigh in is tomorrow morning. Praying for a good one!

So disappointed. Only down .2 I tried very hard this week that this loss doesn't make sense to me. I am starting back at the gym tomorrow since I am off. Hopefully adding exercise this week will make a big difference for next weeks weigh in!Welcome New Vendors
