I have been tracking my calories hard core for 6 days now & I am down 4lbs since wednesday! I am hoping to drop another 2 by saturday since I will be going away for a week Saturday. Vacation is always so hard for me but I am hoping I can keep up with the exercising & watching what I eat while away & not gain it all back. 10 lbs to my ideal weight :)

Keep up the good work ladies!

That's soo great good for you!! I'm sure you'll hit your ideal weight before you know it- just keep doing what you're doing! What kind of exercise are you doing? I need all the help I can get!

Wooo keep it up! I know it sucks dieting on vacation but try to stick to natural foods, fruits, veggies...that's my trick for vacas. I don't like to eat heavy on vacation!

I have really been changing it up with exercising. Some morning i run my neighborhood or go to my high school track and do jog/sprint laps and run the bleachers. If I got to the gym I'll do a nice walk on a high incline, strength training & take classes. I really need to do lots of variety because I hate any/all physical activity!

I really need to do something. I HATE the gym sooo much. I go the LA Fitness and I have no idea how to use any of the machines so I never do them. Does FH work out with you?

I think I might join Lucille Roberts- I used to go there in HS-it's less intimidating and I actually like those classes they have there which might make going to the gym easier for me. I rather do this

FH does not work out with me. He is blessed withthe genes where he can eat whatever the eff he wants and not gain weight. (I hope our kids get his weight genes and not mine ) I do go to lucielle roberts & their classes are really good & its much less intimidating. My sister is in great shape and like to work out. She also has a degree in exercise science so its basically having a free personal trainer.

Gym guidance--that's exactly what I need! I get myself to the gym a few times a week, but after I do some cardio and the few machines I know how to use, I head home. I am considering a personal trainer just for a few sessions, so that I can learn what I'm doing and gain more confidence with the free weights and machines.

When I joined my previous gym I got 3 free personal training sessions. My personal trainer was GREAT! She showed me how to use the machines and told me that adding weights to my workout would 1) help me lose weight faster and 2) make me look better than just doing cardio. Those 3 sessions really helped me get on the right track. I would have done more but trainers are so expensive!

I recently switched from Planet Fitness to Retro Fitness. I never asked if they have personal trainers there to show you how to properly use the machines. Gonna look into that. Thanks! :)

Congrats! Way to go Ro! I told myself 10lbs before I go dress shopping. I need to get to my halfway point of goal weight loss that way when I buy a dress it won't be 10 sizes too big when the big days comes. I have I have 35 more lbs to go. We can do this :)
