Re: 2014 Brides 'Official Weight Loss & Keep It Off' Thread

So this week I tried my best to stick to my weight watchers points and went to yoga and zumba at the gym. I just weighed in and I am down 3 pounds Now I just need to do this for the next few months lol

That's awesome! Keep it up!

I've been pretty bad the last 2 weeks I fell off my workouts bad, and diet was not stellar. The only workout I have done is I have gone to pole dancing the last 2 weeks. We had a lot going on between work and family things have been crazy but I got up at 6am this morning and did my workout. So no excuses the workout is done for the day :) So I ended up gaining .8 back but it's okay I'm going to lose what i gained back plus some. My head wasn't in it the last two weeks and I really lost focus of why but I found my way back and my heads back in it :)

Hey ladies I'm new to this thread, I have to start getting into the gym! I'm focusing most on toning rather than weight loss right now to see how that helps. Can anyone share their gym routine with me?

I am a member at Lucille Roberts and right now my gym routine is:

Body Box Bootcamp and F.I.T Butt & Gut on mondays
Chick Boxing, Body Box Bootcamp, and Pilates on tuesdays
Cardio & Strength training on wednesdays
Thursdays is either rest or cardio depending on how my body feels
Cardio & Pilates on friday
I try to make F.I.T.bootcamp on saturday mornings but with so many wedding appointments it seems saturday is my rest day
Pilates on Sunday

hope this helps!

checking in- my weight really hasn't changed but i've been exercising 5-6 days a week and its so awesome when people are telling me how good I look and that they can tell i've been exercising. my family says this is the best i've ever looked which is nice to hear. of course I can find 100 things that are not perfect and need to be tighter, smaller, flatter etc I'm just trying to stay positive and keep it up. not seeing the scale move as much as i'd like is tough.

Your doing awesome Kristin keep at it! Just remember that muscle does weigh more and the less you have to lose the harder it does get. I'm sure you look amazing, don't pay too much attention to the scale.

You guys are inspiring me to up my fitness game! I weighed in down another 2 lbs down but it's definitely getting harder to drop them. I've lost 27 lbs in total with occasional workouts. With less than 4 months to go, I need to get my running shoes on! Hoping for another 15-20 lbs down by the time this wedding rolls around

Let's do this ladies!

I've been doing kickboxing on Mondays and alternating cardio and strength training days during the week, but I still feel stuck. So, I am meeting with my old personal trainer this weekend...time to really kick things up!

Thanks for the advice girls. I started Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and got back into the gym for some cardio. I'm at my 6 month mark so I'm hoping to lose a little and tone up.

I have terrible knee problems, any exercises I can use to replace the lunges when they get to be too much?

Re: 2014 Brides 'Official Weight Loss & Keep It Off' Thread

So I'm down another lb. Weight loss has been slow but at least it is slowly coming off. I have my first 5k of the season in 4 weeks. Fh and I went to Camusett Park this weekend and did some running. I love that park for the different terrain which just walking is an amazing workout. We did 8.23 miles just at the park. So I got a good workout that day my knees aren't happy with me right now but need to get prepped for our 5k and need to change around my workouts so that maybe weight will move faster. Being stuck to treadmills all winter did not help. 8 more lbs till I hit my first goal :)

I love my fitbit! Which model did you get? That's awesome keep at it. I think I may go back to 30 day shred since I just finished one program recently.

lost a lot of momentum once i was laid off and was unemployed for 6 weeks. since starting my new job it's been a struggle to get back on track. i am up and down and feeling really down about myself lately, after seeing pictures of myself. i put on about 5 lbs, then lost about 3 and now i'm not sure where i stand ... weigh in is on thursday.

i did try on my gown over the weekend and it's huge on me. if i let go of the top, it falls right down to the floor. i ordered a size 16, and the sample in the store in a 14 is also big on me. i think i'm almost in a 12. i know i've made so much progress and it's like i'm so depressed because i took some steps backwards. it's so hard to get back on track.

You looked beautiful at your shower! Don't be too hard on yourself, you've done a lot of work to get where you are! A few steps back happens to everyone. The fact that your gown is a huge indicator! You're doing awesome!!
