End of the month progress report
Officially down 1.6 lbs for the month. Which is 4.2 lbs total since 1/2/14. I was kind of wishing for that full 2 lbs down this month but i'll take it. I got to the gym 16 of 28 days this month so I was happy with that! I can definitely see changes in my body & clothes and people seem to be noticing the difference so I guess its working.(I should have started with measurements but oh well) I have 34 days until my boudoir shoot so its time to kick my @ss this month and really watch everything i put in my mouth. I'd love to drop another 3 lbs before the shoot, but I will settle for 2. My first dress fitting is april 5th. agh! my goal is to get to the gym 6 days a week this month!
how are you ladies doing?
That's awesome Kristin! The less you have to lose the harder it becomes but you got this just keep going. The shoot will definitely keep you motivated to hit your goal. I would maybe leave an outfit out or something to constantly remind you about the shoot lol.

alright so my dress fitting is tomorrow and I'm sooooooooooo nervous!!!!
last time I checked in on here, I was:
Weight: 133
Waist: 27 inches :)
BMI: 21.6
and I'm exactly the same lol... I'm finding it hard to move away from the 133-135 range, but I'm 5'6/5'7ish and I know it'll be really hard to go any lower than this weight...
When I bought my dress about a year ago, I was around 150, and was between the sample size and one size bigger, so the store ordered me the bigger size. Then, I went back to the store about 6 months ago to try on veils and headpieces, and the sample fit loosely on me (i lost maybe like 7 or 8 lbs at that point)..so I am definitely excited to see how much has to get taken in!
I'll post some before and after pics with my dress tomorrow night or sunday :)
That's great! For your height that is a total healthy weight! Soooo exciting can't wait to hear how it goes!

I'm stuck at 18 lbs. I need to change it up a bit and start working out, eating clean got me to those first 18 lbs, but now I need to kick it into high gear! I love coming on here and reading everyone's progress. It's definitely motivating.
18lb is a lot to be proud of! I'm sure keeping with the eating clean and throwing some workouts in will move your body out of the plateau :) It really is motivating I love seeing everyone's progress.

What a great thread! I have always loved WW. And in the past it has always worked well for me...when I work it. But WW can be a bit slow and this time I needed something different and quicker. I started a protein diet called Dukan on January 1st and I'm down 28lbs! It's definitely a diet and not a lifestyle change like WW. I'm not kidding myself at all thinking I can do this forever even though the program supposedly has a phase for lifetime once you've hit goal. But I needed some big losses early in the year cause I know there will be lots of fun, cheat times ahead. It's strict, sometimes hard, and not fun at all but it's working for me so I'm sticking with it. I bought the book on Amazon and am just using that...no monthly fee or membership or anything. I LOVE fruits and veggies so being creative with eating just protein can be tough but I'm in a zone lol. I keep telling myself that I just need to do this for 8 more months to look the best I ever have on my wedding day...so if it means eating bunless chicken burgers 3 nights a week, that's what I'm gonna do lol. Good luck to all!

Congrats! That's amazing. I totally hear ya. I am doing a lifestyle right now but I know I won't be as strict after the wedding but like you I want to loose like 30-40lbs before the wedding so I need to see the loss now before the few months before the wedding when cheats start happening. I know carbs are my enemy I love them but my body doesn't so I try limiting carbs the type of carbs so I do the same thing sometimes bunless turkey burgers. I find them more bearable when I top it with guacamole (healthy fat).
So I weighed myself and I am down .4lbs it's slow but it's progress. I still have to measure myself tonight. i am sure this weekends eating derailed some weight loss. My nephew turned 2 on Saturday so I purposely only at at the party knowing I was carbing and caloring it up. I had 1 slice of pizza, the smallest piece of cake, a cookie, and 1 garlic knot, didn't drink any wine only water....mostly cause I had a beer the night before when fh and I were bad and split a burrito from our favorite place. So had some cheats but I still stayed focused the rest of the week and the days I had the cheats. I'm seeing some more progress with the way clothes fit so it's motivating me to keep going.

Checking in! Weighed in this morning- Down 2.8! I never lose in large chunks, usually .5-1 lb a week so this was huge for me. Down 7.8 since Jan 2, 2014 & only 4 lbs to goal weight! I've been really watching what I eat and going to the gym 5-6 days a week!

So this week hasn't been the best week we had a death in the family and works been crazy so workouts haven't been happening. But I am determine to get out of work on time tonight and go to a pole class cause I love those. I have been dreading my workouts lately cause they got severly longer and harder so I need something fun to keep me going. I have stayed good eating wise minus Sat I went to the Bayshore St. Pattys parade and had few too many beers lol. I did lose weight this week which I was like whoohooo! lost .4lbs. I also broke through the 150's officially :) I hope to never see them again. 39lbs till goal weight but if I lose just 20 more I will be ecstatic.

I rarely post and LOATHE dieting but I have about 15 lbs I want to lose. So far since Feb 15 I'm down 5.4 lbs. I have a gym membership that work pays for and still am not motivated so I decided to cancel and a new zumba studio opened near me so I go once a week on Wednesdays and have been doing an at home kettlebell training that I got from a friend who is a trainer. So far this is the only thing that worked the best. I set reminders on my phone to keep me on track when logging my food. The biggest change I made was to drink a lemon water- 1 liter before I eat or have coffee. Since my commute is about an hour in the morning to work I drink the entire liter and then get my coffee. I have to say it does make you feel good. I'm glad I am on my way- at least I have 268 data tool the big day! :) it is wonderful to read everyone's motivation and success! :)
