what a headache.........i think i might just upgrade my cake from there
ladies, brace your self i went to see a lady about flowers well she just happen to have pic of wedding she did at leonards and let me tell you they where ugly cakes, but the up grade ones are so nice they can do what ever you want just bring them a pic of a cake you might like!!!

Yeah ladies ask about the cake. My mom is making my cake, and I got a another dish at the CH in place of the cake.

Well i just got the call and I am going June 22nd to finalize my menu and you bet I am going to ask about the cake and take some pictures of it. I hope it is not too bad b/c that is really teh last think I want to spend more money on. I got a v-hour but if the cake is that horrible I guessI have to do it.

Can someone with a scanner scan in the veneitian hour menu from Leonards and send it to me. I know its a few pages long. When I first went in ot talk to them I told them I wasn't interested in adding the venetian hour and they took the papers away from me. Now I'm having second thoughts but I don't have the papers to look at and I'm in brooklyn so I don't want ot drive out to LI just to pick them up. If nobody can scan them in can you guys list a few of hte items they offer. Thanks a lot everyone!

Last night I went to Leonards to finalize the menu and just talk about things....
I came out of there upset. ORGINALLY when we first went, we wanted the Starlight Ballroom-and we were told our 150-200 ppl was going to be 'too small' for such a large room, so we opted to go w/the room right next door. The BM that night was very nasty and rude and rushed us.
so last night, I'm like can I just take a look in the room next to our room-and I fell in love all over again-and then I was like, HEY WAIT A MINUTE-the room doesnt look that much bigger than our room-the tiffany crystal.
So as we are standing there, I asked Ion(sp?) how 200 ppl would do in this room-and u know what he said ?
'Oh, it would be good for 200 ppl-this room is only slightlyy bigger than the tiffany crystal'.
im sorry.....but dont be dissapointed.......thats just a minor issue during the Vienese hour....im sure when they booked you they wanted to keep that room open for a larger party
who was your BM? i know they can be kinda rude

I'm really upset....We wanted that room so bad, and the original BM thought it would be too big, and its not at all.
Also the Starlight has the seperate entrance for the Venetian hour-which I WANTED-bc I do not like the idea of it being rolled on the floor in the middle of dancing. IF he would have told us the first time we went, I would have gone w/that room...
So I spoke to the owner (I sorta know him
But He said he doesnt know if he can do anything...I'm just so upset, the first BM really rushed us and didnt explain it to us![]()
