So, I had a very exciting night.. My sister who is my best friend in the entire world is in labor with her first baby! I am about to head over to the hospital so I figured I would post this question early since I don't know what the day is going to bring! First baby in the family, so exciting! So, in slight relation,
Q: who on here has fur babies?! Give us the details! Name breed age and please, I can't be the only one on here who calls mine my 'son' and treats him as if he was. (If you don't have fur babies, maybe tell us why)
My fur baby is named tango. He's a chihuahua mix, most likely terrier mix. He's about to be 4 (and his birthday is on Sunday!). We've had him for a year and he has changed our lives. We were so on the fence about getting a dog- we actually had one of our first major fights in the parking lot before officially adopting him, bc FH was getting scared. But we did it, and its the best decision we ever made! FH can't picture life without him and I can't either. We're OBSESSED with him! Everything revolves around him. If only he knew how spoiled and lucky he was :)

FH & I don't have any fur babies. We were considering it but realized we don't want that responsibility just yet. I felt between the cost and the attention, I would rather a baby and I don't want a baby now either. We wanted to be 100% sure and we just weren't. Maybe sometime in the future.

I don't live with FH yet, but I have a family dog. A 7 year old chocolate brown Cocker Spaniel named Slippers! We got her from North Shore Animal League a year and a half ago. She was a puppy mill rescue (I highly recommend rescuing...those animals are so grateful!) She's the sweetest little thing and has a big personality! She demands attention...if you don't pet her she'll give you one bark and then the puppy dog eyes. Before Slippers, we had a beagle named Shadow. She was my little diva and I miss her terribly :(. She was a great family dog and so much fun to play with!
When FH and I move in together we'll most likely get a dog as soon as we're stable. I can't imagine not having a dog...the house just seems empty. FH asks for one now haha. We both do enjoy traveling, but my parents love pets so they'll dog-sit haha.

We have a Lhasa-poo and he will be 3 in July. FH got him for me when we moved in together 2 and a half years ago. He is such a mush and I can't take his little face. He was only supposed to be 12-14 lbs and now he's 25!
Lhasas can get big! My little dumpling, Stewie is a lhasa and he's just over 20 lbs. He's a family dog, so he doesn't live with me anymore, but we adopted him 6 years go from a rescue...now we're estimating that he's about 13 or so. He's blind and has some trouble with his legs now that he's getting old, but he is the sweetest, most adorable little lovebug in the world.

We have a fur baby... he is a 1 1/2 Chocolate Lab named Melo, after FH favorite Knick! He is the best so cute! We got him together about 6 months after we moved in together after we swore we would never have pets! Advice...if you dont want dogs DO NOT GO to a puppy store, can't say no once you find the one!

Ummm...He had a dog when we met, he then took his fathers dog when he passed away. Then when we bought the house we needed to bring both with us. I am not an animal lover, I'll be the first to admit that. I have terrible allergies and I just dont love having an animal in the house. His fathers dog was sick when we moved and had to get put to sleep shortly after, Lexi who is still around is a pain in my butt lol. We call her a savage, She will terrorize our house if shes not gated in her back room. Go through our trash, the freezer!! She recently learned how to jump the gate (funny how she has arthritis and when we ask her to come to us shes so slow! FAKER!) Last night we had to go get another gate and put it on top of our old one. It'd ridiculous!!!! This dog will be the reason we don't walk down the aisle. I do love her, don't get me wrong, but we're fighting right now LOL
