when i was a kid i always wanted to get married on halloween. but i changed my mind two and a half years aog. my neice was born on that day didn't wanna take anything away from here. so when i got engaged i said we should get married on valentine's day. i picked that day cuz it is a romantic day already, so i figured to make it more romantic for me and my husband. i now think back on that date. me being greedy i will get and ann gift and valentine's gift all in one. and if fh wants he will throw in my birthday it is feb.25. but i still love my wedding date

We did middle of July because Im a teacher and will be at work till the end of June and I figured I would needa few weeks probably to do stuff so why not the middle of July.

We wanted a Halloween wedding, but then I thought that the little kids, who are not comming to my wedding, would be missing out on trick-or treating w/ their parents.
We then went for Friday the 13th! We made a list of all the Friday the 13ths and then narrowed it down from there based on month (we skipped March and Feb of this year due to weather), proximity, the one before that was too close for us to save enough money. We totally missed the Nov one this year for some reason, which left us with our date (Aug 2010) or wait even longer, which I said NO WAY to May 2011!

i wanted a saturday that was the 17th (our anniversary is january 17, 2001).. & in 2010 my only two options were April & July... i love spring colors and i didnt want it to be too hot so we went with April
we had our engagement party on our 8 year anniversary this year.. it fell on a saturday & stuck with the 17 theme

I originally wanted 10/10/10 and was set on having my wedding at The Vanderbilt which was the same price for any Sunday no matter what the date was... but when I went to The Woodlands I absolutely fell in love and knew that was THE PLACE. However when I got their pricing they wanted $25 more pp for Sunday 10/10/10 then they did for a Saturday!! So my frugal side stepped in and said Saturday 10/2 it is!!
