Good morning ladies ...just came into downtown manhattan and it's pretty sad here today...everyone looks like they are scared!! It's amazing that it has been 5 years already
My thoughts and prayers will be with all the families that lost their loved ones

I can only imagine! I'm in PA right now so when I turned on the TV it was like a reawakening. Everyone here is sorta just going on with their usual. The mood is so different in NY.

i agree...it is extremely sad today ...even on the train everyone was mellow...

god bless those who lost someone...those who are gone but not forgotten.

never forget 9-11...

i kno nothin will happen but i was a bit nervous this morning myself

It's one of thsoe days where most everyone will go about their business and do what they have to do, however, between the news, the media, and just the date alone, everyone has what happened on their minds!!! It's just amazing that it's been 5 years!!!!

I just don't understand why they have to play stuff about it on every channel though!!!!
it's like u wanna get away from it and when u turn on the TV it's there !!!

i work with a 37 in plasma by my desk.
i cant get away from it...i put it on mute and turned the other way..but im drawn to it..

I'm a teacher, and I was just saying to my mom, my principal did a moment of silence this morning, but then no one talked about it at all. I thought that was a little weird.

My prayers go out to all the families.

we tried not to dwell on it today at work, we just talked about it , but we tried to stay very positive for the day.

I work in the city.
