if she is a good friend she shouldnt look at this as a waste of time. im having minor issues within my bridal party and its stressing me too so i know how you feel it is a tuff corner to be in. you will make the right decision. :)

wow thats awful! im sorry you have to deal with this..as you see by my post..i am having bm issues as well! you should really talk to her and remind her again how much reponsibility a bm has..such as to 'throw away' a weekend once in a while..thats horrible she said that to you..and i hope it gets better

I feel that when people accept your invitation to be apart of your day they should want to make it the best it is suppose to be they should not give any headaches sometimes I feel some of the girls in my party are their just to be there but not because they really want to be apart of it if that makes sense. With all the pressure a wedding brings you don't need any other stress even though these girls are a part of our day they are living in their own world and they put themselves before us.

I truthfully HATE to admit this but only since becoming an actual bride do I realize how HORRIBLE of a bridesmaid I was in the past. It is possible that she never intentionally meant to hurt your feelings.
My suggestion is you sit her down for a 1 on 1 and tell her how you feel ~ as hard as that is. Firstly, let her know that you value her friendship and why you chose her to be such a special part of such an important day. Regardless, it is hurtful to you when she says things like 'waste' and if that is truly how she feels then she doesn't consider it to be the honor you hoped it would be. ~ no hard feelings ~
People can be so insensitive sometimes....i'm late ordering bm dresses and one of the little witches still hasn't given me a definite YES!!

I have been waiting to hear from her being she was going to contact me,, earlier this week to make plans.. and still nothing.
I appreciate everyones comments and thoughts. I hope that we can still have a civil friendship after all of this. But I doubt when I sit and talk to her that it will turn out to sunshine and roses.

i'm sorry that you had to deal with all this. I hope that you are ok and whatever extrenuating circumstances there are...i hope you are ok with it and possibly your friendship can be preserved! It sux that things like this have to happen.
