I know we had a thread like this awhile back but we have so many new girls. So I think it would be fun to tell a little about ourselves.
I'm Colleen. I'm 23. I work on a per diem basis as a Sub. Teacher for children with special needs, and work part time for a recreation department. I'm going to school full time for my Masters in Special Ed. All the while, I've been searching for a full time job for the fall
I'm so addicted to weddings, wedding planning, and LIW. I'm on here so much cuz I can't afford to do anything else. I don't even know how I have the time between school and work.

I'm Kim I'm 25 from Commack. Im a medical assistant in lindenhurst. I start my new job in the hosp in Jan and I can't wait! Im going back to school to get my RN. I love hanging out with friends. I am out going fun. I love this site its fun and I've learned a lot from everyone!

I'm Marie, 23. My fiance and I are both graduating from college in exactly 19 days . In July, I am starting an MD/PhD program, and he's starting a PhD program.

Thanks! I am very excited!
The only problem is that with both of us being on students stipend for the next few years, the wedding budget is rather small. My family is not in the picture, and his is poor . And since we are in NYC, I am not sure how/if we can afford it. So I am really nervous about that.

My name is Reymilz im 19 ... I will be 20 in eleven days ... i am a student at Five Towns College in Dix Hills but I live in Brooklyn with my Fh for about a yr (yes i travel every single day ).... umm what else can i say I love to sing dance and act ... i havent gotten wedding crazy yet ... i guess maybe because it feels so far away and because my FH KEEPS SAYING I WILL HANDLE IT ( WE ALL KNOW THATS A LIE)

i'm jess, i'm 23 and i work for a medical lab in the billing dept. i've got a math degree which is currently, somewhere in my house and i'm not using it. FH and i have been together three years this july 5th and we're very excited to start planning, but i'm easily overwhelmed. um, i cant think of anything else to write, lol.

where are you doing your MD/PhD? One of my bridesmaids is also getting ready to start an MD/PhD -- you probably bumped into eachother during the interviews. She's in an MD/PhD applicant facebook group

Hi everyone! I'm Christine, 23 years old. Currently living in Connecticut with my FH. We moved here a year ago for his job. I am orginally from Commack and all my family is on Long Island, including his parents out in the hamptons. I come home every Saturday (ugg!) to finish my MBA at Stony Brook. (long story!) Connecticut is alright but I really hope we can move back to Long Island!
Also, I really hope we can all get together!

My name is Teri, i'm 27,I live in Seaford. I work as a Payroll Specialist for a company in Garden City. I have my Masters in Human Resource Management. I spend all my time on LIW chatting with all of you as i plan my wedding.

Gaby, 22, living in Massapequa and Deer Park (at my parents about 25% of the time and with FH the other 75%) been with FH 4 1/2 years. I am a Laboratory Tech working in RIA and Endocrinology (ria is radioactive testing...). Im not totally wedding obsessed yet, FH and I are taking it slow before we book anything because of money issues (we have NONE!!)

My name is Janna, I am 26, living in Carle Place, and I am about to finish my last year of law school and take the bar exam. I dont have a job at the moment (looking), and I am looking to get into the LLM program in taxation at my school.
I am totally wedding obsessed (to the point FH doesnt want to hear about weddings, but I am coordinating our best friends wedding), and am looking into starting my own business in it.

Hi! I'm Laura. I'm 28 and I'm originally from DIx Hills but now live in North Babylon with my son and FH. I work as a staff accountant and office manager at a CPA firm in Nassau. Lately, my spare time has been spent at my son's Little League games and practices and on LIW with you guys!!! Although we're taking our time with the actual wedding planning, I'm on the internet constantly looking for ideas so when the time comes to book certain things, I'll be ready!!! My sister asked me the other day why I come on here so much, lol. I told her its the only place that there are people who are on the same boat as me right now and who won't get sick of the wedding talk, lol!!

My name is Christine, im 23 years old. Fh and I have been together for 5 1/2 years now! I live in Howard Beach with my father and brother (but spend all of my time-I practically live with fh) I teach high school social studies at a school about 5 min from my house. We just had out engagement party and I cant wait for the wedding!
