Ok call me a whoose, or whatever you want but I have my first gynocologists appointment in 2 hours and I am a nervous wreck!!!!!!!

I am so scared of all doctors but I am really freaking out over this one BAD!

I cant wait until its all over..Oh to be a man!!

good luck! i have to go next week. like everyone else said it's not that bad. and it only takes like five minutes. and then you don't have to go for a whole year woohoo!

NYLisa: I go to (dont laugh) Dr Bush in Brooklyn. She is young and nice..but pretty busy so you have to wait quite a while when you go. An excuse to take the day off of work

Now an unrelated question to those that have never gone - how do you handle the birth control issue? Do you chart or something?

I agree with the other girls, the embarassment is the worst part. I just keep thinking that EVERY woman goes through this and it's nothing personal, just business.

Please ladies, if you've never been...GET THERE SOON! My good friend and one of my BM's is in her 30's and fighting Breast Cancer....you just never know.

Ladies who have not gone, get your ass to the GYNO immediately. You need every end checked. Its no big deal, you spread em he checks and its over.

And Sonic how do you keep a straight face with Dr Bush?

I am going in January for the first time....i was so freaked out for so long about it, but i have resolved myself that it's gross and embarassing, but everyone says it takes two minutes and you're out-so i am going to believe them. All my friends were so freaked and they said they totally built it up in their heads. It really is so important to go to God forbid catch anything early--the joys of being a woman!

Thanks Jen.

Its a little embarassing but once you have a realtionship with your gyno, it wont be as bad. I love my gyno he is the biggest geek and I love him. We talk about everything.

Of course being its my life...today the worst thing happened to me. The underwire broke in my bra and its literally gashed my BOOB!!!!!

This has never ever happened to me before and of course it happens right before my first gyno appointment!

Now shes going to think that some kinky things go on in my home! LOL

MY life is so weird!!!!!!

I hate to go but I go twice a year (I'm on the pill)and have been going for 8 years. Don't wait any longer. Its uncomfortable but not painful.

what also helps me thru it is to think that my gyno sees a bunch of whats down there every day and I'm sure mine looks a lot younger and better than some others!!!!!!

I was there this morning, and as my Dr. was poking around where the sun doesn't shine, we were laughing about his escapades in the blizzard. Just try your best to think about ANYTHING else, and it'll be over before you know it!
