well the honeymoon lasts longer so you should be looking so forward to it!! That's great. Has FI been before? This was my first trip there.

Oh our HM was Barbados, which I just adored, but you can't really hop over there for a weekend like you can Vegas....

Yea FH and I went in 2002 and just loved it. To go on our honeymoon is a dream. We've been wanting to go back for some time but we figured that we would go ALL OUT for the honeymoon.

I don't think its too late. It's good for 60 days. I just preferred getting it done sooner rather than later.

That's because I've been engaged so long. I have no choice but to be up to date on EVERYTHING!

Translation -- too much time on my hands!

Better earlier than later I'd say -- we had to run and get my divorce papers translated at the last minute to get our license. The Consulate had told me they had sent the translation to the Village Hall but no. Good thing HD had taken the whole day off....so we got it done in one morning anyway.

I just wrote a really long review of my shower and posted some pictures on the BHB board. Here's the link:

My living room and dining room is piled high with gifts. I have to figure out where they are all going too! I hope to get all the thank you's out by the end of September!

Amy- WOW! What a review!!! Thanks for all the info, looks like you had an awesome time. You looked VERY pretty. I love the purple (I wore that for my shower too ) Congrats on all your presents (especially the PORN video ) that was a funny present, along with the wine bottles.

Thanks Christine! I love looking too. We got so many unusual gifts and everything was so nice, I figured I'd be detailed so it can help inspire other's giving showers, etc.

And yes, it is a releif now that it is over!

Now you can go back to wearing sweats!!!

Amy- I got my toasting flutes in the mail on Friday! They're perfect. I'm so glad I saw yours. I was afraid I wouldn't find anything I liked. I LOVE LENOX! The engraving came out so nice (they spelled our names right ) I guess that's a good thing.

How is the planning going for everyone?

ohhh i may take you up on that beware - i have about 100 cones to roll -
not to mention all the bows i need to make for the programs - did i mention i absolutely hate to tie up knots - i stink at it ???? LMAO

Nope -- at least I didn't. Just waltzed in with my BP one afernoon. They were great!

thanks kara - i need some serious cheering - just lost all my programs to a computer meltdown - i had to replace they whole darn thing - which totally bites
