I know right...now my clock says 4 days. I guess no more excercising until after the wedding because my dress fits perfectly!

I feel bad I won't be able to wish you luck for your wedding Oakslady because I'll be on my HM. SO GOOD LUCK!!! you're right behind me!!!

Hi girls

I can't believe we are in the teens. FH and I are in overdrive right now. We've been so busy I've barely had time to check in on LIW.

Last week I had a third fitting appointment and my dress is still too big and too long. I know have 3 more setup (one this week, and two next week). Because they are hemming from the waist, it is very complicated.

We also had our final design session at Jack & Rose. IT went great, but his earlier appointment ran late, and so our 5.30 appointment turned into a 8pm appointment. We worked with an assistant during that time, but still had to review everything with Jack. We were very happy but exhausted by time we waited for the final pricing and contract (we made a lot of changes -- more roses, rented ceremony pedastels). We didn't leave there until 10.45pm last Thursday.

FH & I dragged our asses all weekend because both of us have not been sleeping well -- stupid wedding dreams!

Sunday I did put aside honeymoon clothes as I was transitioning my summer / winter wardrobe.

Last night I found great unscented burgundy colored candles at Linens & Things -- we are putting bowls of pillar candles on Island Hills two large bars to jazz them up a little.

Tonight I have my final appointment for laser hair removal (I've done my armpits, mustache, bikini) and FH is coming along because he wants the backs of his hands done (he's doesn't want hairy gorilla hands in the pictures -- too funny!).

I've touched based with our photographer and videographer and hotel. And everything is all set!

Tonight I hope to wrap all the rehearsal dinner gifts. I still need to write personal cards for each of our partcipants.

I wasn't going to do welcome bags, but I decided to do them, so I need to go shopping for that.

Our seating arrangements are done and this weekend we are tackling placecards -- I found translucent vellum ones that I can print from our printers -- big timesaver!!

Saturday is my bachelorette and in the morning I'm going for my final hair cut and color.

Sunday is our final meeting with Island Hills.

Next week is my final facial and I'm also getting a hour massage! Can't wait for that!

Only thing we'll need to do next week is programs!

At some point, we need to do our final house cleaning in prep for the wedding day.

*PHEW!* I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but I thought I'd share what's on my last-minute list!

One more thing: Our wedding coordinator was contacted from TLC A Wedding Story, and we submitted an application. We haven't heard if we are picked yet, but there's a good chance we might be.

I'm not loving the idea because of the added stress, but FH is excited and I will admit it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Hehe! I'm very calm! I just have a lot to do.

I went to Walbaum's on my lunch hour just now and got all the stuff for the welcome bags for my guests staying at the hotel. It was a great time to do it because all the individually packed stuff is out for halloween.

Christine -- 2 days! Can you believe it! Enjoy your rehearsal dinner tonight! The weather prediction is good for Saturday!


So last night was my 4th fitting -- its taking longer because I am so short and they are hemming from the waist to save the embrodiary and beading at the hem. My dress also has an overlay so there is twice the hem. Anyway, last night my dress finally felt good -- I wasn't tripping on it and didn't feel the need to constantly pull up the bodice. They are going to take in the bodice a little more and add bones that will be sewn to my dress and get tucked into my corset to give me more security. They pinned my bustle so when I go in next week, everything should be done. If not, I have another appointment next week setup as a back up. What a relief!

I wanted to take a picture and show you guys, but FH has mentioned poking around on LIW and I'm too suspicious to risk him seeing me in my dress, so you'll have to wait until after the wedding!

Hi girls

Last night was my BP! We had such a good time. I didn't want to do anything crazy, and my girls planned a perfect day. In the morning I went and got my final hair cut, color and highlights. Then FH and I had lunch.

At 3pm, I met my girls at my BMs apartment and we went to get mani/pedi's. They had me get the full blown spa pedi plus a 10minute shoulder and neck massage. Both were GREAT!

From there we took the train to Penn and went to what I thought was dinner, but turned out to be a murder mystery dinner -- Murdered by the Mob. It was lots of fun! From there we walked to Times Square and had shooters and desert at Planet Hollywood.

It was the perfect, low-key, fun night out with the girls!

Thank you. I wasn't really sure if I like the dress when I put it on the first time during dress hunting because it fit to small, but my aunt new it was just perfect for me I'm glad I listened to her. I got it at the Commack Wedding Center and cost $714.00.

I tell everyone to try the south beach diet. It's a really healthy way of living. Trying to start it up again, but I work nights and preparing the meals is difficult when you sleep almost all day.

rehearsal is tomorrow - dinner at the sea basin in rocky point followed by my batcheloreete party at of all places lucky chengs - never thought we would be going to a drag show - goodness.

i will see you all saturday - this is my last day online then i have to go check in at the hotel - i promised myself no wedding stuff after tonight
can you believe i had 2 people cancel this afternoon? and get this i got a reply for yes - goodness people wait till the last second wont you?

Well I'm back....my pics are in a separate post. Did the 'AMYs' come back yet? I can't believe I missed all the well wishes to them when they got married. I can't wait to hear about their weddings.
