My name is Stephanie, FH is Michael. We've been together 4 1/2 years. He responded to my Yahoo personals ad.
We are getting married in 8 days I am so happy it's almost over. I just want to go on the honeymoon - 7 nt Southern Carribean cruise and 3 nts in San Juan.
This is a picture of us from an African-themed pre-wedding celebration a few weeks ago. It was for the people here in Chicago who can't make it to NY for the wedding.
Hey ALL!! I'm crystal, and I'm plus size too Hopefully not for too much longer, i just want to lose weight so i can feel better!! I gained a lot of weight.. 50lbs, in 3 years but anyway!! here I am with my fi:
Commack wedding center and Bayshore Bridal has plus size to try on... you can also look on line but you take a risk when you have to measure yourself......
OH BTW i started a thread on here for plus size brides in their weddings gowns, if you want to do the search.....

Just My Size thigh highs I swear by them, I have a draw full they stay up and on until you take them off....never wearing panythose again.....woohooo!

Not to get too personal, but on the thigh highs: My thighs are shaped wider at the top (towards my crotch) and then the shape gradiants down towards the knee. By the time you hit my calf, it doesn't even look like I have fat legs -- just very shapely. Because of that, I think that's why I think they roll down on me.
So like I said, not to get too personal, based on your experience, do you think they are still worth trying. I'm sick of wasting money on these damn things that don't fit right.
*sigh* just frustrated!

Hi All - i am chris, my love is James we are together 2 1/2 - met by mutal friend on 2.14 - we consider that our 'other' anniv. Age - i dont do numbers, safe to say i can sign the marrigag licence on my own.

Cant have this thread without me! I am plus size.. but this has been really hard and stressful for me.. I was a size 6 when I met my FH 3 years ago... and after having his soon I gained sooooo much weight!! and its stubborn at that!! Well here is my dress!!! I got it at commack wedding center and they had my size to try on!! it was actually big on me Its alfred angelo
I went to try on my dress last night. IT looked great, a lil big but I have to make an appointment for a fitting. Aside from the fact that they gave my slip away it was a good night.
Here's the question: Where do I get a good bra? NOTHING holds me up like it should!

I also went Georgette's and got what i needed for my dress. Which I got at RK Bridal. they had a lot for me to try on. I definitely recommend them!
Keep posting about the thigh highs, I need a pair.

I'll be honest, I tried on the thigh highs with the dress and I couldn't stand them after 6 mintues of wearing them. They were very uncomfortable. Other brides have had better experiences with them. I got the silk ones at Macy's for $6.50. The price was good but the comfort wasn't there. I think I'm going to go for knee highs because I hate pantyhose!!! GL trying to find some.
