My weekend was good. Saturday I visited with my Aunts in New Jersey and we did lots of wedding stuff. We did the final edits to the guest list, figured out the timeline for the day of the wedding, looked for my possible hair styles for me to try, discussed beefing up my registry, etc. etc.
Sunday was a good day -- we slept in, went to the movies. We hit a tux place, but FH was not in the right mood for that. We did see some things we liked, but he didn't want to really try anything on, so we didn't see the whole picture. I'm hoping to get him to go to another place one night this week.
Sunday night we worked on printing out direction and hotel inserts. I also finalized the layout for the inner envelope template so I can start printing them tonight. My fingers are crossed that we don't have any printer jams and/or get any smudges on the envelopes from the rollers.
I also received my shipment from the Lane Bryant catalog for my super support panties. They are pretty comfortable and certainly SUCK everything in.

hee hee hi gals i got myself some of those super support panties and let me tell you they are totally fab dont knwo what i would do without them still trying to figure out how to add the godkids but i have a few ideas now - aside from that ia m editing the programs and it tlooks like i am pretty much on track - got to get the rest of the alterations done ( i am doing all the bp's alterations myself cause they cant ever get into the seamstress!)

I don't know what you are doing with your ceremony or how you meant adding the god kids. But let me throw out this idea. Since we are getting married at the reception hall, we are having the florist provide about 6 decorative pillar candles. As the ceremony begins our two aunts (mine and FH) will walk up the aisle and light these candles. It was a nice way to include them. I don't know young the kids are, but if the can handle a BBQ lighter safely, maybe this would work for you.

Haha! That's the tag that my graphic design made for our favors. I LOVE IT. FH and I are big lady bug fans and she made it to match our colors of burgundy and silver!

It's very lovely..... So who wants to come to Las Vegas next weekend (Aug. 12) for a bachelorette?? So far we are 3! But that's OK, we'll have fun anyway. I Can't believe how little time I have left. And today is my birthday and I am in Florida, so I won't get to celebrate until tomorrow. I am hoping honey gets me earrings to match my e-ring!!

My bachelorette will be more tame. I think we are heading to the city to see a show (maybe off broadway) and then dinner and drinks at the drag queen restaurant -- Lucky Changs?
For Christmas last year, FH bought me a pear-shaped diamond pendant to match my eRing. I wear it almost every day.
Last night, my MOH and I finished doing all the bows on my favors. Now I'm just waiting for the tags to be printed and that can be checked off my list!

Hello ladies! Last night I picked up some stamps they're so pretty (flowers) I have to have the invitations weighed this week to get them out by Aug 16th. I'm hoping!!!
We have our engagment pictures tomorrow night. Nothing like waiting till the last few months of being engaged.

I ordered my stamps last week. We did the $0.60 flower stamp for the invitation, and then we used the Breast Cancer stamp for the RSVPs to honor my Dad who died of breast cancer (not as rare as you think).

No, we decided not to do that. We donate ourselves on a regular basis. And we had already bought our favors prior to my Dad's passing. He only passed this past February.

FH and I had hired a handyman/contractor to do crown molding in our living room. He's a friend of a friend, and we haven't finished paying him yet. When I asked him, he said...'I'm not worried, I know where you live.' And I replied...you better hit me up for this BEFORE THE WEDDING, otherwise forget it. So I know what you mean....
