Not being a racist....but where are the hairstylists and make-up artists that cater to Black women? Did anyone on these boards have any luck as of yet or nformation?

nsgraham recommends Judith Garner. Her fees start at $150 and go up depending on the size of the wedding and the tasks you want her to see to. My girlfriend is using her for her wedding and I might as well. Her phone number is 516-668-2801.

Actually we have made many changes. As you spoke of we changed the logo to be more universal. The shirt you received is one of the older shirts. The new ones are being printed and will be here the first week of August (just new logo no photo). And to let you in on a secret we have developed a new site for African American brides. It is still under development but if you want to take a peek it's here http://www.ebonybridalplanner.com/. So, as you can see we are sensitive to the feelings of all and respond when we are able to do so!

That ebony bridal planner site is interesting! I want to see what vendors they get on there, especially makeup and DJs. And Carribean catering!

Speaking of DJs - I recommend mine highly - Smooth DJ Rus. He's from St. Thomas and is highly professional and inexpensive.

Hey nsgraham your wedding cordinator Judith Garner she basically only helps out with the actual wedding day like making sure everything is running smoothly that day so you don't have to worry about it and you can enjoy your day. Correct?

Yes. But she meets up with you beforehand a few times and tries to get to the hall before to check everything out there as well.
