Not being a racist....but where are the hairstylists and make-up artists that cater to Black women? Did anyone on these boards have any luck as of yet or nformation?

12 days and I just withdrew an obscene amount of money to sent to Larkfield.

My stomach is in knots, i'm excited and nervous at the same time. I hate being the center of attention, weird but I just don't like being made a fuss over. I'll be so happy when it's over, I just want to be on my honeymoon.

Hey thanks LadyPrincess but Judith Garner is booked for 8/21 already she called me the other evening...I'm still looking and getting crazy rates from $400-1000 from cooridnators on LI just for the day

I can't think of any one right now. I will search around for you. I'm using Jody from Simplicity Planning a vendor from this site. She is sweet and very helpful. I was lucky to have found her b/c so many people wanted tooooo much money for what I needed them to do. I planned my whole wedding myself and all I needed them to do is oversee the deliveries to the loft and make sure everything is in place by the time my guest arrives. I basically needed them to supervise. I've received a quote of 1200 from one person and 1500 from another. It is not that serious, but Jody came through for me.

Try Craigslist.org, NY section - sometimes people post on there looking to start up a wedding coordination business.

One more vendor to pay and my wedding will be completely paid for in FULL!!! Thank God it is almost here. I had my final fitting for my dress and it is perfect.

I'm using Cheryl Clarke (Judith Gardner recommended her bc she wasn't available). Her cell is 917-584-6196. She a little more expensive than Judith, but worth it.

Hey LADYLUV isn't that PAID IN FULL a wonderful feeling....we paid all vendors this weekend I couldn't be bothered anymore...my favors are wrapped and done and moving on to designing the table (final) plus the other decorations....

Paying off the vendors is a wonderful feeling. I am still working on seating chart. I have to wrap BP and parents gifts. In two weeks I'll be sending song list to DJ, sitting down with florist, photographer, wedding coordinator and limo company. Thank God it is almost over.
