After Wedding Photo/Video Problems

Are any brides having any communication problems with your photographer/videographer company after you wedding?

I have been getting the run around and somethings that should take 2 weeks is taking 4-6 weeks to complete or not even done.

I still have thank-you's to receive (proof was approved), albums, prints, video trailer and full video. At this point I have only received the proofs.

Who did you choose for photos so we can avoid them? My cousin had a problem in NJ 3 years ago and it turns out that the place was going out of business. They closed their doors without warning and my cousins only got their raw photos and footage a year later after a class action lawsuit. Hate to say that but yes stalk them until you get your stuff!

After Wedding Photo/Video Problems - Long Island Weddings

My friend did not recieve her Thank Yous until like 8 months after her wedding. We just got them the end of July and her wedding was last September. They were gorgeous and when i told her she responded with thanks You would have got it sooner if my photographer was on teh ball. So it might be a common problem.. They are paid in full so why rush.. This is my worry!

I don't want to mention the name because I still need to receive a lot of stuff and I don't need further delays/complications.
I understand why the photographer's want to get paid in full, but I feel taken advantage of.
Over the weekend I saw multiply new albums posted on facebook but no response to my emails.

I received my proofs and video trailer 6 weeks after the wedding. I used 2 different companies. Have you tried calling them? Or going to the office?
I did not have to pay my photographer the final payment until we picked up our proofs.
I hope they get back to you sooner than later because that is very frustrating.
