Airbrush Tanning?

Anyone had it done? Where? What was your experience? Thanks ladies!

I've never had it done but I hear that Brazil Bronze is amazing. They have a location in Bklyn..not sure if it's anywhere near you though... brazil bronze

i haven't done it myself, but a friend of mine did. but i do know the key to getting the tan to look even and real is having clean skin. you MUST exfoliate your entire body so that the spray will spread over you evenly. like using an exfoliating body wash and just scrubbing everywhere...to get rid of any and all dead skin layers.

she wasn't a big fan of it, cause it did make her look a little orangey---but she is soooo pale so i think that is why it didn't look right

If you have a base tan first, it works great. just don't do it too close to the wedding & make sure you exfoliate

ive only done it when i had a reaally good tan already. just to kick my tone up a notch. worked out awesome, but if I werent so dark to begin with, I know it wouldve looked uneven.
really depends on where u go and who does it. & what they use. if they use bad chemicals, it wont matter how well its applied

FH has tried it and he liked it. The only thing is that it didn't last too long...maybe it's because he's so white...

It's exit 11N on the belt parkway, near mill basin. They do spray tanning. The results are good. :)

Ive only done the mystic tan spray a few times and dont reccomend it all.

I personally wont do it for my wedding day instead im doing the bad thing (i go tanning now 2x a week) only until the wedding then ill stop. I dont do it cause its asking for skin cancer!

On the wedding day your makeup artist can just airbrush your shoulders/neck/and chest and itll look really nice.

I haven't used them -- but Brazil Bronze in Great Neck is a vendor on liweddings. I was thinking about going to them about a 4 days before the wedding to get a little color, but I am a little worried--what if it looks fake?

How long does the process take?
It takes approximately 10 minutes to be airbrushed and 10 minutes to dry.

How many tanning treatments will I need to achieve a tan?
You will only need ONE treatment to see the tanning effect.

How long do I have to wait for the 'tanning effect' to take place?
You will have a bronzed body by the time you exit the salon!

How long will my airbrushed tan last?
The tan lasts approximately 5-10 days. Seven days is a good approximation.
Some people still see a slight tan line and have a soft glow on day ten.

What should I wear during my airbrush treatment?
Most women wear an old bikini, underwear and bra, just a thong or nothing at all.
Most men choose wear their bathing suit or boxer briefs.

Will the airbrush tanning solution wash out of my clothing?
It washes out of most COTTON fabrics.

What should I wear directly after my airbrush tanning treatment?
Be sure to bring LOOSE fitting DARK COTTON clothing - NO JEANS and NO
WHITE clothing. The solution will rub off a bit on your clothing until you
shower.

How long do I have to wait until I shower?
It is best to wait 6-12 hours before you shower.

Can I workout immediately after my treatment?
We recommend that you do not workout/sweat until after your first shower.

Should I get sprayed the same day I have a special affair?
NO! We recommend that you get sprayed one to two days before a special affair.

Can I get sprayed the same day as a just a 'night out on the town'?
Yes, as long as you wait 6 - 12 hours before you shower and go out.

Will I be streaky, blotchy, and orange like the spray booths?
NO, NO and NO!

How much does it cost?
Our full body airbrush tanning treatment is $50.
Half body (either waist up, including face or waist down) is $30.

When should I call to schedule an appointment?
There is no time limit as to when you should call for an appointment. Two days
to one week in advance is when most clients choose to call. In order to be sure
you reserve a time that is most convenient for you, we do recommend that you
call as far in advance as possible.
