I just got a call from Det. Walker. He said he has my tape and most importantly my irreplaceable baby and honeymoon pictures. He's going to be by me and said he would drop them off for me today. I really can't wait to have them in my hands.

The detective came by my job today and dropped off the tape. I am so excited.
Question for everyone: Where are you going to get it converted? I have priced around and heard about $500, but I wanted to get some feedback on what everyone else is doing?

How could I forget to say a SPECIAL THANK YOU, THANK YOU TO KATHY AND SHELLY, without you none of this wuold have happened and he probably would have gotten a few more girls in the process. Thanks again. I can not begin to express how overjoyed I am.

OK Graet for all you that got your tapes AND PICTURES- but I think its a huge crock of Bull**** that he's allowed to take a plea(deal) when some of us are still out irreplaceable memories!!! and its even more BS that we hyave to convert tapes with $$ out of our pockets to even watch the raw footage. I am ****ed

Hi guys-
To all the girls who have gotten tapes: Your welcome! I am glad we were able to help.

I too am a disappointed Mark isn't doing more time, but at least we have gotten the majority of the tapes returned, which is something that didn't happen the first time he got caught.

Believe me, I am going to keep an eye on the Buffalo area (my neice is going to college there) and if he even thinks about starting up again, we'll be ready to act.

And for you girls who can't find someone to copy your tapes, my husband has a Super VHS recorder so we can actually view the raw footage tapes and make copies.

If any of you have trouble making your copy, I'd be glad to make a copy if you provide a new tape for me to copy it to. We'd have to make arrangements for you to come to my house as I'm sure none of you want to part with your tapes!

I just heard from a video vendor I've been in contact with recently who has offered to make copies of the S-VHS copies for FREE. Again, you would have to provide the tapes for copying. I'm sure their quality will be a bit better than my copies.

hi, I haven't heard back from Det. Walker and I have a feeling that he dosen't have my tape. Mark never made it to my wedding on 7/13 and sent someone else in his place. Mark probably never paid the guy for my tape back in the first place. Did anyone have the same problem and get the videographer's name? I'm still wishing my video is out there. OH and by the way THANKS FOR ALL THAT SHELLI AND kATHY HAVE DONE!!! Without you guys I wouldn't have come this close!

What happens to Marc in court today? Is anyone going ? Does anyone know exactly where to go and how to get there?
Does anyone know the name of the DA on the case?
I haven't been able to get a hold of Det. Walker for the past two days- he called to say he thinks he has my tape on super VHS- but no picturse- Does anyone know where I can go to pick it up?

There is no court case today because the tapes had been sent back and a deal was made. (See Kathy's previous note on the previous page).

Det. Walker is located in the Hauppauge court buildings. You would take the Northern State east to it ended and merged with Vets/347. The courts are on that road (not far after Northern ends).
Call his secretary to ask for complete directions. I no longer have his business card with his exact address. I never heard who the DA was, just that it was an assistant DA.

I hope he does have your photos and just doesn't know it (maybe they weren't labeled and since Walker doesn't know what you look like he doesn't know what's yours?).

Hi all........it's Carol....

I was in court yesterday with my husband who was there on police business. Marc has to re appear in court on 3/26 b/c 4 tapes are missing and one more couple contacted the ADA on the case that they are out money from him. Apparently there are money orders for those who are out money.

The ADA is Maureen McCormick and she can be reached at the same number we have for Det. Walker. I did not get to see the B*****D in chains but that's okay.........I finally got my 'mini Dv' of our ceremony and I saw it last night at my photograpgher's. He is going to finish off the video for us for btwn $350-450. I figure that is about right since our balance would have been $375.

I guess that JUSTICE will be served but you all have to remember, as screwed up as the system is....those are the laws and this will follow him FOREVER.

Cara and Nikki.......he tried the the same BS with us and I caught him on it. He said that it was his 'billing service' Yeah right.........I did get the money back two months later. Small claims court is the way to go.
