That just wants to get away from everything right now lol...with the wedding, personal issues, and just so many other things i feel worn out...its sad bc i remember this time last year and it was so different and great, we were engaged a few months and barely started planning and this week last year we went away and had a great trip and there were no problems at all. I go to bed late bc i have a million things on my mind, wake up early for work-tired all day and have so many things on my to do list that i have a hard time getting to I would give anything to go back in time one year ago lol
I made plans for after work to meet friends for happy hour and cant wait

fh and i are def in a routine - its not a bad routine and i dont mind being in a routine at all.....but as of now the routine doesnt involve that many fun things.....mostly because we cant spend any money! our routine has been the same since we've been living together (3 years in feb!) except for minor changes - like now he works a lot more OT during the week.......I just miss when we had money to do things and go places - now we are just trying to save save save.....so even though we arent depriving ourselves it still would be fun to do more 'date' like things with FH....
Yeah, not having money really blows.

oh yeah we still fit things in but its not the same...before we could spend our whole paycheck and not save any of it and it would be perfectly fine but not now lol

I think happy hour will def. be a temporary cure.
Question: How does your FH sleep and go on about his day? Does all of this stuff get to him like it gets to you? Or is he kind of blissfully unaware?
I feel like I carry all the stress....he's stressed don't get me wrong. But he has an extremely demanding job that lately has been making him work around the clock, so I feel like I try to keep as much additional stress away from him as I can....and I don't want to worry him with how stressed out I am, ya know?
Oh fh is worse than me and gets less sleep than me, this whole weekend he stayed over my house and he told me i would be passed out and he was up until 4-5am. He handles stress worse than most ppl, he is manic depressive so its highs and lows with him and honestly his highs and lows have become my highs and lows, thats another thing having to deal with that, its not always easy
Ugh, I'm sorry. I hope you know I wasn't trying to insinuate anything, just wondering if there were any differences. Do you think he worries more that you're worried?

You are not the only one...
Every since last Thursday I've had hives that have been coming and going. I thought it was the BC I was taking and my gyno told me to stop immediately. I had to leave work in the middle of the day on Thursday. Then Monday they came back after being gone all weekend. I had to get up in the middle of class at law school and leave. I went to my GP and he pretty much said he didn't know and to take benadryl. I went home and took it and they went away. This morning I went into work and after being there an hour I realized my entire body had hives again, and this time worse than everytime before that. I didn't even tell my boss, I just got up and left and went straight to the ER. At the ER they said it definitely is not MRSA (that flesh eating bacteria going around) but that they weren't convinced it was an allergic reaction either. They said it could be, or it could be a viral infection. They gave me steroids and sent me home.
I also had a callback interview today, that I had to cancel because of this.
All of this on top of work, school, trying to decide which job to take for post-grad...I feel like I am slowly but surely losing it.

I totally know what you are going through, don't know if you remember from one of the other posts, I had an allergy thing happen to me and it was so annoying to figure out what it was. I cried and screamed and took it out on Fh, it was terrible. If you need to talk FM me ...

I feel you 100%!!!
There are so many horrible things going on around me, and its been like this for the past year..and its REALLY taking it's toll on me. I feel like I am in such a rut! And seriously, I can't find my way out!
On Sunday I woke up crying, and cried my eyes out for like an hour. I just feel like there is sooo much pressure inside of me. It felt good, but it also hurt to cry. I remember being so strong, and lately I just feel so weak.
I know the worse thing to do is ignore friends, especially because I need them so much right now but at the same time I feel so torn! Like you said, I don't want to call them up just to complain, and half the time..I really don't feel like talking about any of it, I want to escape it all. I don't want to be a burden and I don't want them to worry about me. Plus, they are all going through so much themselves, which also weighs a lot on my mind. Sometimes I wish I was a better friend, but I sometimes feel I don't have the strength to be. At the same time, I wish I had the type of friends who would realize what I was going through and MAKE me go out. But, like I said they're also going through their own stuff, and they probably don't have the strength either.
I've been to so many funerals over the past few years. My brother goes to 2-3 Dr. appointments a week (he has MS, IBS and Barretts), He's been taking so many tests lately...it's so hard to go thorugh, and see him go through. And my mother is a wreck!! I have a very sick friend who is pregnant so it's a scary pregnancy...and thats just the tip of the iceberg. More than anything I wish that everyone was healthy!!
Then there's the smaller problems, I can't find a job close to me (I have panic attacks on trains and buses by myself so it makes it so difficult trying to find a job!), which leads into money problems. I have no idea how we are going to afford this wedding when we are struggling to get through Christmas!! Then there just seems to be NO time. Even though I'm not working, all day I am CONSTANTLY busy!! I feel like I have to rush through everything I'm doing because there's just not enough time during the day...and then I have insomnia at nite, and the next day I am sooo tired all over again. It's a vicious cycle!!
I feel like, I just want to be the 'old' me..I had so much strength, and everyone was healthy, there were things to look foward to..etc..
I am obsessed with make-up too and looking cute/being girlie!! Now I feel like its a chore to put make-up on...ugh!!
Ahh.. I need to stop here...lolz. This post is getting out of control..I just keep typing. I swear I wrote all of this in like 3minutes..I just let it all out lolz..sorry!! But, thanks for letting me vent - and not feel so alone with this!!!
::hugsssss:: to everyone having a hard time. It'll get better!! At least thats what I keep telling myself!!
I am so sorry, they say the only way to go from down is up so lets remember that this too shall pass, maybe it means LOTS of good things coming our way...i am soooo sorry about your brother and your friend and pray for their well being
I really hope things get better for you...hopefully the end of 07 will mean the end of problems for all of us and we can all have an amazing 08-it is o ur D*mn year so we better have a great year

oh no not at all, you had no idea and probably didnt even expect that answer hahaha...oh certain things i worry about that i bring up to him will make him worry even more and freak out. But him stressing and worrying also just makes it harder on me lol, when he has his lows its real hard on me

Re: am i the only one?
Let's see where do I begin? Definitely money is always a big issue. Work is the most stressful thing in my life right now and I can't fall asleep at night. And that makes me so tired that I don't function right while I'm at work which leads me to not wanting to workout because I'm so tired. It's such a vicious cycle and I hate it. I want the stress to leave me, but it won't unless I find a new job, but then I'll have to take a salary cut, which is not the smartest thing for me right now. (I guess I can't complain about the stress then ) All my school debt is practically what people pay in rent. My mom is really sick and will be going into the hospital probably next week for at least 3 weeks of treatment. I'm in school right now and love it, but with my work schedule it's hard to find time to do my homework. The only thing I'm not stressing so much about is the wedding, which is really weird. Doing stuff for it calms me a little. Oh and we have no clue where we're going to be living next year before we get married.

that kept happening to me - they couldnt figure out what it was - it kept happening on and off for months........it ended up being a reaction to Pepto Bismol....i used to be able to take it and nothing happened but now if I take it I get hives all over my body.....its really weird, i guess i just developed an allergy to something in it.....it took months and months to figure out it was from Pepto....i have a bad stomach and used to live on the stuff....

They said it still could be the BC, b/c it stays in your system after you stop using it. Today the gyno called me to see what was going on, and she said she has never seen a reaction like this from BC, but at the same time that she would absolutely not recommend going back on it.
I am really pissed at how my GP reacted. My real GP, who I have been seeing since I was 11, recently retired so I've since been bumped to his partner who I really don't like. He was like oh just take this medicine and it should be fine. Then at the hospital today the Dr. said the medicine he gave me won't do shitt for me whether its allergic or viral.
I am praying that the steroids work.
I feel like crying every minute at this point. This is really the worst possible timing for this to happen. I have so many interviews lined up and school is coming down to the wire before exams.

How did you figure it out? Did you go to an allergist or did you just realize it by process of elimination? I don't know what I should do. FH is nervous that I'm going to lose it, he is telling me to throw out all of our soaps and detergents and he'll go to the store and get new ones.

You are always so kind and supportive!! I don't think you give yourself enough credit! You really are such a sweet person, always trying to help even when your going through your own crazie-ness!! If I could, I'd buy you your happy hour drink!!! hehe!
I keep hoping that something will happen and it'll turn eveything around. I focus on the wedding as the one REALLY good thing that is happening. But, like others said, there's also a ton of stress that comes along with the planning.
Maybe after your drink tonite, you'll be able to unwind a little and take the edge off, and hopefully it's a start to better times ahead!
