FH recently moved to Michigan and has few friends there. So when someone offers to go out, he jumps on it. Anyway, last night a single female co-worker asked him to go out for a drink. That didn't bother me. However, afterward he went back to her place and stayed there till 4 AM. Well today when he told me about it, I was really annoyed. I would never go to a guys place alone and stay till 4 AM. I have never met this girl and know nothing about her. Perhaps if we knew eachother, I wouldn't care.
What do you girls think? Would you be bothered by FH at girls place till 4 AM when you dont know her?

I would be FURIOUS!! There is absolutely, positively no excuse for that. Going out for drinks with a bunch of people..not a problem. At a girls house until 4am...HUGE problem.
I don't even care what she looks like..it could have been shrek..NO WAY, NO HOW.

I would absolutely be bothered by this. I probably wouldnt be thinking they were intimate or anything, but my question would be how did they get so close that they are hanging out alone TALKING until 4 am. What do they have to talk about? I would definately be bothered.

For some women who have been hurt alot in the past, they choose to hang out with guys who are already 'taken' b/c they know there is no chance - that way, there is no chance of them getting hurt again.

I don't know why your FH woud put himself into that situation but I had to ask FH to know what he thought about it. So, from a guy's perspective, he says it's 'totally inapproriate' to go a woman's house if she lives alone.
Sometimes we have to explain to our FH that women are not 'that innocent'. Even if we trust them we know women better than them. Sometimes they are a bit 'too naive'.

I am not at all jealous and I would freak out! There is no reason why any guy would hang out with a girl alone unless he is gay or desperate to get into her pants. My FI said that guys are only friends with girls if they want to get with them on some level or if they are dating or married to their friends.

I totally agree with this - I have a friend who in a similar situation took advantage of a married guy - YES, I understand it takes 2, but when someone has been drinking and is loney and feeling vunerable, things can happen before they even really realize it.
