AND then you got all these people over their saying how outraged they are by all of this.

Where was their outrage when Saddam was mowing down people (including his own) by the thousands? They become conveniently stupid when that point is brought up.

I'm not defending this war anymore.. at one time.. I thought it was a good thing. Honestly.
Now it's time to cut and go.. let these people destroy themselves if that be their destiny or hopefully they can join the rest of us in a civilized world living in peace.

Unfortunately.. all these actions may have in effect played right into the terrorist hands -- Bunch of cowardly a$$holes.

I have an Uncle, who I never met because he was POW and killed in WW2....

I say, let them at it...why should we treat their people with respect and dignity when they are hurting our men and women...Just because they do not ahve pictures, does not mean they are not being abused...

Know how many of our people were killed and thrown in shallow graves...

He wasn't even suppose to be over there. You know he didn't sign up togo to war. He didn't sign up to the army etc. etc. to protect his country or freedom. I am so sad about this.

My older sister is at war and everytime my phone rings we cringe at home. Everytime I doorbell rings...we cringe. You just never know.

I am utterly disgusted by the pictures of the Iraqi's being tortured. I do hate however that Bush keeps apologizing to them. Like enough is enough already!!! Let's stop apologizing and do something already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But don't you see that's what THEY are doing, an eye for an eye...next the question will be 'who started it all' ( the abuse) ...Us or them...and with the media and the Govnt the way it is, how can we ever know the truth, WE DONT....I feel for them all, the Iraqi's and the US soldiers, and I'm sorry if no-one agrees. They are fighting for what they believe in, just like we are....I know everyone will hate me for saying that but my opinion is that we should just NEVER have gone there and should leave NOW....I don't think any of our soldiers are fighting because they truly believe or understand what they are fighting for....the truth is mangled and given to us by media and untruthful government leaders. I agree we as the strongest nation in the world should fight for freedom but we should fight for peace as well...so now whats next, we abuse their soldiers some more...when will it end?

I hate to be so dramatic but it is my opinion that if we were going to be dramatic and go into war it should have happened with a plan not just to meet the deadline we threatened them with so they knew USA wasn't joking.

I wish this would all end already, but I know it's not likely to happen. My FI is scheduled to leave on his ship towards the middle east (exact location unknown) on 6/12 for an indefinite time. My stomach is in knots already.

I agree with you 100%.

I was watching the hearings yesterday and one of the Senator's ( I wish I could remember who it was) said that he was outraged by the outrage. A part of me understood his point, but the other part says 'Hey, didn't our govt send us to a country that never asked for us to come.' So, I am outraged at OUR GOVT. Sending our men and women over there to fight a war that IMO is becoming another Vietnam. The USA is a great military power when we are fighting a so called 'civilized' war, but the days of WW2 where everyone has a uniform and adheres to certain'rules is over. If the USA wants to try and 'help' nations that fight using gurilla war tactics then they should start training our men and women in that manner. Otherwise, KEEP OUR PEOPLE HOME!!!!!!!!!

As for claiming eye for an eye on their part, how so? Wouldn't that mean they show naked US prisoners? You are someone that needs to watch the execution video. That guy was an innocent. He wasn't in the army, he was there trying to help those ingrates out of the 18th century. The best part is, they aren't even Iraqi soldiers, they are fundamentalist (and I stress MENTAL) Islamic jackasses. They have no real beef, so they jump behind whatever cause they can find. I don't think we should cut off Iraqi heads, but these Al Quada and all the fundamentalists should be dealt with in full force fashion. How fast people forget that they crashed planes into our buildings.

For the record, I was never for this war. Sure I was glad saddam is out of power, he wasn't really a good guy. I'll be glad when George is out too, I feel the same way. The war was a way to finish what his daddy started. It wasn't about harboring terrorists, or WMD's.

these people have no idea what democracy is like... they have lived like this for years. In the beginning of the war, i was a little reluctant but then I said hey we are helping these people, we have a plan and a strategy, so it seemed I was ok with it. but reality check>> it is a WHOLE different ballgame over there. And I am not ok hearing how many soldier have died and have been horribly injured and for WHAT? do they even care over there? it seems like we are now the untimate enemy. now its a no win situation... if we left now, we would look like hypocrites to the world- and if we continue what will we gain from this and how many more Americans will we lose?

I am just so frustrated because we are WAY in over are heads? and they are going to release power by June 30th... lets see if that happens...
