And I'm off to LI!

I am wrapping things up at work here since I am heading to LI for a week starting this evening for another mad round of wedding planning. Final meetings with vendors, lots of payments

, picking the menu, flowers and the list goes on an on! Then after I get back our wedding is only 4 weeks away! It is getting very real!!!!!!!!!

Well, I'm back and exhausted!!! It was a successful week! Finalized the menu at the Milleridge and told them all about my little extras to expect! They were in the process of decorating my room for x-mas so I got to see how it will look...all I can saw is AWESOME! Beautiful tree when you walk in, wreaths on all the windows, garland around the room with little white lights! I can't wait! Also met with Chris at the florist and did all my flowers. He was great! I knew what I wanted and he helped pick and choose and tell me what flowers would work best together. I can't wait to see my flowers, I am sure they will be beautiful! Finally was able to put a face to my DJ's voice! He is so nice and I am very excited about using him...totally not a cheeseball DJ type! Hmmm..what else..oh, decided on video last minute and went with Bellarino. Phil was great and another vendor I have no worries about. Met with the church organist and gave him my music rundown and did a million other things I can't even remember! Oh, and I HAD MY SHOWER ON SAT!! It wasn't a surprise but it was still awesome. My mom had it at our house and she took all the living room furniture out and rented little round bistro type tables and white wedding chairs and hosted a champagne brunch shower! My brother was in the kitchen cooking omelets to order and my cousin came dressed in his tux and was our waiter. Very Fun! Oh and talk about loads of gifts...I think I now own every chrome Cuisinart appliance out there! Got some really great things and some surprises...like candlesticks from Tiffany's. So I must say, my trip was a huge sucess and now we are in the last stretch where we just wait for the big day to come! ONLY 26 days!! YIPPIE SKIPPY!
