Another furniture question??

Another furniture question??

We went to a few stores this weekend to look at furniture and there were a few things we liked, but there were two stanley sets i liked for about 5500 - 6000 and then at levitz and seamens all they had was stuff for 2,000.

I know you get what you pay for, but I don't want to pay 6000 for a bedroom set at this point. Especially since we are getting a King size, and need to buy a mattress. But why is there nothing in between the 2000 and 6000. The stuff at Levitz, looks nice but you can tll is is flimsy, no dove tail draws, etc.

I went to The Place and Siegermans this week, and then Levitz, Seamens, and Stanley in Patchogue, where else can i go to look??

What companies make furniture around the 3,000 - 4,000 range??

I just sent you FM. I am buying my Stanely from NC and getting a good deal - much closer to your range. I decided on the Encore set - what about you?

I am still not sure, I have become so annoyed a tthe entire process, and everything is jsut so expensive.

We have 4600 to spend in total, bedroom and new bed and it seems like we won't be able to get anything that we like and that is good for that amount.

We decided not to spend a lot on bedroom furniture. I just couldnt bring myself to spending thousands when tehre are so many other uses for that money. So everything in our bedroom is from Ikea. We had the bed for 4 years or more and its been no problem. We bought some new dressers this year and they do the job without costing a fortune. Especially since we needed a lot of them.
